Buy something else
My baby is 2 months old and we’re on our THIRD motor for this pump. I exclusively pump so we need our breast pump to work but this one just is not it. There is no suction only a clicking sound. Would be 1 star but I gave a second because customer service has been great at sending replacements super fast.

Don’t buy! No suction!
I purchased this through my insurance and I wish I had not. It stopped working after I used a sterilizer that wasn’t Medela brand and due to that they no longer will cover the parts on their warranty. I now have to go back and spend more money on a different brand. I will be using Lansinoh as my brand because I’ve been able to use it without any issues as my secondary pump, if you have a chance to buy anything, don’t buy from this company.

DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS PRODUCT
I’m not one for writing reviews, but I hope it saves someone from choosing this awful product through their insurance or worse, spending their own money on it. This product sucks. It is so loud so I hope you’re not trying to be discreet, the suction is awful and there is no timer. What took me 10-15 minutes to pump with my old spectra takes at least 20 minutes— if not more— with this one and I’m
Not even confident that it’s fully emptying me out.

When I had my very first child 12 years ago, I was given a medela and I loved it, which is why I chose this one this time. The quality of medela products has gone downhill majorly. I’m embarrassed I wasted my insurance pump on this and will likely resort to using my own money to buy a better pump, which is something I shouldn’t have to do.

If you’re considering this pump, Do yourself a favor and Don’t waste your time with this one.

Frustrating Auto-Switching Mode
I really want to like this pump. I appreciate that it is small and not too bulky or heavy, but one thing that is extremely frustrating is that it only provides a minute of stimulation before automatically switching modes. This is especially annoying because I have to keep switching back and forth between modes, which is the last thing I want to do while pumping at 4 a.m. I reached out to customer service, and they advised me to speak with a lactation consultant—not sure how that would help since the issue is with the pump itself.

Quality subpar - not recommended
This pump is terrible, what a waste of my insurance. I chose the Medela In Style pump because my 8 year old Medela In Style pump was amazing. I was able to use that pump as needed for my first child and when I exclusively pumped for my second child. When pregnant with my third child it wasn’t a question which pump I would be getting because of the success I’d had with Medela previously. The product quality has significantly gone down over the last 8 years. I feel bad that I recommended Medela to all of my friends and family not realizing how much the product has changed. I’m upset that I did not do more research and instead purchased based on my past experiences expecting the quality to be the same. I have an oversupply and donate to a milk bank so having a quality pump is a must, this is not it.

Great suction, but cords are wonky
I bought this pump in a pinch because my Motif had cheap broken plastic pieces that broke and I didn't want my supply to drop waiting for the parts to come in. So far, out of the pumps I have tried, this pump seems to work best at gently removing milk from my breasts.

Cons: The pump tubes are a little wonky and get twisted/fall out of the holes easy, it is on the loud side, and there is no visual timer on the pump.

Doesn’t give me good output
I received this pump 3 weeks ago or so from my insurance and I get maybe 1.5-2oz at a time pumping for 30 minutes. I tried everything to get a better output but I feel like a failure when using this pump I found a pump on amazon and get way better output on a pump that was 39 dollars! I really had high hopes. Almost everyone I know that has this pump says the same. I don’t know if the suction just isn’t strong enough but I really would’ve love for it to be better because I need a wall pump and really didn’t want to waste the money but now I have to wait a 6 months before my insurance could even cover another pump.

In Style Pump
I chose this as my free breast pump from insurance and I am extremely disappointed. I have only been using this for about a month and it now will not start properly. I have to restart it several time to get proper suction. For example, there is no sound of suction coming through the tubes sometimes until it decides to finally start working. I almost exclusively pump and need it. I reached out to the company and hate to find there is no phone number only the contact us via email. This is ridiculous.
