This breast pump vs discreet duo? ?

The Lansinoh Wearable Breast Pump is a fully cordless, compact pump with larger 8 oz collection cups, four flange sizes, and strong hospital-grade suction, making it ideal for maximum mobility and customization. The Lansinoh Discreet Duo Wearable Pump is a more affordable, insurance-friendly option with a slightly bulkier design, smaller 6 oz collection cups, and fewer flange sizes, but still offers hands-free pumping with quiet operation.

Lansinoh doesn't make the 17mm, but you might be able to find a compatible generic brand.

Can this support larger flange sizes or no?

The Lansinoh Wearable Pump can support up to five flange sizes which are 21mm, 25mm, 28mm, 30.5mm and 36mm.

Avoid this pump
I’m not sure if I saw the large capacity of the cups and was sold on that feature but I did not see all these terrible reviews before I made this purchase. They are all true. Between fighting to get a proper seal to even allow the suction to work and the milk still leaking on top of that!!!! It is a total waste of time, effort, and milk. It will cost you so many ounces in milk and hinder your supply. Do your research mamas and go with something else.

Easy to wash, store & travel with.
Seven months in and I find this pump very convenient. Easy to wash, sterlize and travel with as it only contains 3 parts to wash. I wear them sometimes driving home, folding laundry and cooking. I did notice one of the engine's battery life drains faster than the other, but I have learned to charge at nighttime. Also, not sure where I can find replacement parts for these but I have reached out to customer service hoping they can assist.

Purchased in February 2025
I was excited to try this brand when I purchased it in February. The suction is great as long as it’s assembled correctly. However, I was disappointed with the leakage issue. Once it reaches a certain capacity, it starts to leak, even when I ensure everything is tightly assembled. Unfortunately, this flaw makes it unreliable for me, so I would rate it a 1

Do Not Buy
Giving this 5 stars so people can see this review - I used my insurance and got this pump. I had to pay $89 extra to get it and it’s the worst pump I’ve ever used. I was meticulous about making sure everything was charged, clean, and put together properly and I still had issues with no suction. As a first time mom experiencing pumping for the first time as well, this was such a poor experience. I am so bummed I used my one opportunity of getting a pump covered by insurance on this. I’ve since had to purchase other pumps with my own money because I can’t use this one.

DONT BUY THIS PUMP
I gave it 5 stars to this review would be seen by anyone thinking about buying. This pump is cheaper than all of the other hands free pumps but it is garbage! One of the pumps sucked milk into the motor on the first use and was toast. The other one lasted about three months and eventually lost suction. They also leak when they are about half full. If you must make this purchase, get the warranty. It will definitely come in use.

Great pump but leaks
I got the new design and it leaks while pumping and the parts pop off from each other during removal, it's like they aren't clicking together all the way no matter how much I try

Not worth even $1 !
I bought this pump this week, charged it up and guess what, Only one side suctions at all. I’ve done every type of troubleshooting possible and one pump just doesn’t work. For the $140 I paid for it, and it being nonreturnable I am DEEPLY disappointed. I was so excited to have this pump too, and now my supply is tanked as I can’t pump with it at all.

Painful
I have 2 other lansinoh pumps and I love them, these on the other hand have a very loud motor and despite having the correct flange size and using coconut oil or pumping spray, they HURT. Not to mention when I usually get 6-8oz these I'm only getting 4oz at best. Not worth 200 dollars in my opinion. If I could return and get my money back I would.

Terrible customer service
They advertise on the site “hassle-free replacement parts.” Let me save you the time and frustration because that is not the case! I contacted customer service about replacing the small inside silicone piece since they don’t have them on their site or Amazon. They finally get back to me by telling me for my convenience they offer them at a store that just so happens to be 114 miles away.

Broken part - only 90 day warranty
Was excited to use this wearable pump. It was great for a few weeks until the small port that goes into the suction of the battery cracked and now leaks when I pull it off the battery which results in milk loss. Called in to get a replacement part, after 20 minutes on the phone sending in pictures and invoices for proof of purchase they tell me they can replace anything because its been past 90 days. The go buy purchase date which was 2 months before I even had my baby...... crazy they cant even replace a cheap plastic part for their customer. You also cant order the replacement parts through them, they sent me a link to target to reorder which has terrible reviews. not recommending lansinoh to friends and family any more.
