Pre-Birth Organic Massage Oil

I have received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I didn’t use it for a perineal massage but rather as a general massage oil for my belly postpartum, anything to aid the shrinking uterus! It definitely helped me relax a bit, especially as a first time mom. Also, where I live, the air is particularly dry so it’s a great moisturizer as well. The only reason why I docked a star is because i wish there was a less messier and easier way to get the oil out. You have to just flip it upside down and wait for the oil to come out but flipping it back over sometimes leave a mess around the spout and I don’t want massage oil trickling down the container. Seems like a waste of oil.

I received this pre-birth massage oil from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I did not use this for perineal massage, but used it on my belly. This pregnancy my skin became sensitive to textures, and lotion would not only irritate me physically, but mentally. I did not enjoy the sticky residue it would leave on my skin. Once I received this oil, I switched to this. I loved this oil because I feel like it truly hydrated my skin, but did not leave me feeling oily. Something that was really important to me. My two-year-old loved watching me apply it to my belly, and would ask for it to be applied to her too. Due to the ingredients, I knew it was safe for her young skin and would allow her a couple of drops to put on her belly to match mom, it made it fun for both of us!

I used this for perineal massage for about 10 minutes once a day for 2 weeks. The oil doesn't have a scent, it doesn't feel too greasy, and never once irritated my sensitive skin. It was also great as a belly conditioning oil, leaving my skin super soft and I firmly believe it helped me have less stretch marks. I would absolutely recommend this to other expecting mama's if they're looking looking a comfortable, sensitive skin friendly solution for perineal massage or belly softening!

I received this oil from Stellar Product Testing Panel right before I gave birth to Isla. I had only used it once on my pregnancy belly (I don’t have any comparison photos unfortunately!) As far as using it postpartum, it has been great! I can see visible reduction of redness and stretch marks! It come in a small package but you really don’t need much product to cover your belly! I would recommend it for anyone who is looking for a quick absorbing oil with natural, organic ingredients for their growing belly!

This is an interesting product that I am on the fence about. I received it as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I don’t know if I would purchase it on my own for a future pregnancy. It had a good consistency for a massage oil but gave very few instructions for best use both before and after birth. For stretch marks and my stomach I found that I preferred lotions and for perineal massage I wasn’t super comfortable.

I was given this pre-birth massage oil to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The consistency of the oil was pretty thick and easy to apply to my belly. It absorbed rather quickly compared to other oils. However, there is no mention that the ingredients will help with any existing stretch marks. I did not feel comfortable using the oil for perineal massage based on my medical history. The cap over the dropper cap was the same size as the actual bottle of oil, which can be off putting when investing in a ski care product.

It is made from organic oils and 100% natural so I feel comfortable putting on and in my body. My partner and I just took a class on perineal stretching and massage appropriate for 36 week + expecting moms and the Lansinoh birth prep and recovery organic massage oil is the perfect product for us to use! It has the right consistency so that it is thick enough to use without spilling everywhere but yet isn’t greasy. And it is free of harsh fragrances that could be irritating to sensitive pregnant skin. It has been soothing to use to prepare for labor and I am bringing it in my hospital bag for post-partum use as well!

I'm currently 36 weeks pregnant with my second child and preparing for our first natural labor and delivery. I like that it's easy to apply, doesn't have a super-strong scent, is vegan, is organic, and is very portable. You bet this will be going into my bag once we head to the hospital, too!

I was amazed by the myriad of uses for this oil! I thought it would just be another belly oil but have found the simple and fragrance free ingredients safe for tons of other baby and mom needs.

I initially used it as a belly oil and liked that it wasn’t scented. Postpartum, I have also found it helpful for my breasts. I use to to keep the skin hydrated and to help massage clogged ducts. Most importantly, I don’t have to worry about baby having a reaction when she puts her face to my skin. I think it might also come in handy as a lubricant for rectal thermometers.

Birth prep and recovery massage oil by Lansinoh is the secret ingredient I didn’t know I needed. This oil comes in a tiny 1.7 oz bottle which, makes it the perfect size to carry on the go. I love that this oil is multipurpose and can be used both before and after birth. I do feel like I had the upper hand going into my natural delivery after using this product. The results were absolutely no tears and a recovery going quite smoothly. I also like that I can use it to moisturize my postpartum belly. This oil is moisturizing without being greasy and doesn’t have a scent which is a plus for all the mamas who have sensitive noses like myself.
