Overview

Description

Many moms love this pump for its exceptional performance, allowing you to have a more productive pumping sessions that fully empty the breast—which can be a game-changer. Also, it’s quiet. The motor operates at 45 decibels, which is basically the hush of a library.

It offers adjustable suction levels for a more natural flow of milk, including the popular massage mode that simulates the natural suckling of a baby. More key features: back-flow protection protects your breast milk from harmful bacteria (it’s a closed-system pump), a night light allows you to pump at any hour, it remembers your most recent settings and it has an auto-shutoff feature.

The biggest difference between this model and the Spectra S1 Plus Electric Breast Pump: This one is .5 lbs lighter and doesn’t have a rechargeable battery, so you always need to be plugged in. If you think you’ll need to pump in different locations (especially out of your home), the S1 might be a better match.

Thank you for your question! They come with slow flow nipples.

Is this pump compatible with 220V if I use it on vacation overseas? ?

This device includes a power supply that supports 120 through 240 volts AC for input. However the power supply has USA NEMA 5-15 plug tips, so you will need a plug tip adapter to use it with an international outlet.

Waste of Time and will cause milk to dry up.
I have used the Medela Symphony in the hospital, Medela hand pump, the Haakaa hand help pump, and this one. I have tried all the flanges, and all the settings had a lactation consultant help me, went on YouTube and read the owners manual. I get 1-5 ml with this pump using for 30 minutes where I can get 50ml using the Medela hand pump.

It works! I like how simple everything is to set up and keep clean. It is also surprisingly quiet even on its most powerful settings. The only downside? I wish I had sprung for the slightly more expensive version that can be battery operated. Time is at a premium with a newborn, and I really wish that when I’m pumping I wasn’t tethered by an electrical outlet to the wall. I’m ADD as heck so I end up stopping and restarting the pump a half dozen times before I remember and gather everything I need before settling down into my pump sessions. Batteries would have made my life much Easier there. But even with that said, I would wholeheartedly recommend this pump

Good but wish I would have gotten something a little more portable
Love this pump, great settings... This comes with two different sizes of flanges - 24 and 28 mm. Not my size! So my advice would be to measure your nipples and buy flanges that are your size ahead of time (unless you are a 24mm or 28mm). Also if you can, splurge on a wearable pump or the S1 spectra pump because it really is a pain in the butt to be tied down to the pump when there's a baby you have to take care of.

Don’t bother with this one
This is the worst designed product I’ve ever used- very frustrating. The flanges don’t suction well and I’ve spilled more milk than I’ve saved at this point. In addition; the cord plugs into the wrong side of the unit (right side) making it difficult to plug in properly - it should be in the center or on the left side. Its also just big and has tubes and wires hanging off of it which become a tangled mess.

Exclusive Pumper Approved
I purchased this pump without doing much research on breast pumps, as I didn't think much about pumping while I was pregnant. I ended up almost exclusively pumping from the beginning due to latching complications. I'm SO glad I got this pump. It helped keep a steady supply until I was done pumping at 8 months postpartum. I do encourage any buyers to watch a quick tutorial on how to set it up before using, as using any breast pump for the first time can be tricky.

The parts are really easy to clean and I didn't notice any suction changes over the 8 months of heavy use. The sound is also very discreet. There were times that I was pumping in group settings and no one noticed.

While this pump isn't portable (you need to be plugged into an outlet to use), I ended up getting a portable battery pack that made it easy to pump on the go.

Recommend!
This was my primary pump and as an exclusive pumper I clocked a lot of hours with it! It does the job well, I saw my output go up over time and it was super easy to get replacement parts for it and even pump directly into a storage bag. The set up of it can be a bit tricky but once you do it a few times its fairly straightforward. I did play around with the settings a fair bit before finding what worked for me.

Best Pump Ever
Hands down the best pump I could have purchased! I love that I can pump both breast at the same time. The pump has a very low sound and has several settings for comfort. The bonus is the nightlight which has come in handy. 5 stars!!
