Overview

Description

This contoured changing pad is designed to be used without a cover—the cushioned foam surface simply wipes clean. The pad has a non-skid base and can be attached to your dresser top with included adhesive strips.

It has a safety belt, plus a toy bar and a baby safe mirror to entertain baby during diaper changes.

The foam is comfortable and won’t absorb liquid or smells. The material may produce crystals on the surface as moisture dries and are easy to wipe off (the crystals are essentially moisture being released and are harmless).

How cold is this to touch? Do babies react to temp during changing?

The Skip Hop Wipe Clean Changing Pad is made of a firm, contoured foam material that can feel cool to the touch, especially in colder environments. Unlike fabric-covered changing pads, it does not have a built-in warming feature or extra cushioning to retain heat.

Some parents choose to place a soft towel or muslin cloth on top to make it more comfortable for their baby, especially during colder months. If you’re concerned about temperature, using a wipeable changing pad cover or keeping the room warm can help mitigate the cool surface.

It comes with a tabletop attachment, which is essentially adhesive strips. It also has a non-skid base.

The Hudson interior try measurements are 31.25"L x 17.5"W and the Skip Hop Changing Pad is 31.5"L x18.25"W, so unfortunately the changing pad is a touch too big.

components under mat will scratch dresser if you plan to place on top of dresser, slips around.

Discolored
The idea is great and I appreciate that it can be wiped clean, however it became discolored (maybe stained?) after only about two weeks’ use.

Just ok, it’s kinda hard and is a little of a weird shape. Should have measured to see if it would fit so that’s my bad but the wide part hangs off our dresser a little bit.

It's too hard for baby's delicate body!
I wanted to love this product, it's easy to clean, cute accessories and stays firm on any surface. However, it's really uncomfortable for the baby, it's hard for their delicate bodies.

I use it at every diaper change
I love this thing! I use this to change my son almost every diaper change (unless we're not home of course). It's so worth it! I also love that it's a neutral oat color—I hate when baby items only come in gray. I highly recommend this baby changer. I will say, the sun and cloud mobile is a bit useless and now that my baby is 7 months old, he gets distracted by it in a bad way (prevents me from changing his diaper quickly). It's removable, so I'll be doing that soon.

Game Changer
We registered for this changing pad (instead of a more expensive competitor) and love it. With the amount of newborn blowouts, I can't imagine having a traditional cloth changing pad. This wipes clean easily, and now that my baby is 4 months old, the mobile is great to distract her during changes. One of our favorite baby gifts.

Must have!!
This is a must have for any nursery!! We love our changing pad and how easy it is to wipe down. Our son has spit up all over it and peed all over it and it’s so easy to clean up. I would highly recommend spending the extra money to get this wipeable changing of over a regular changing pad any day

Cute and easy to clean
I love this changing pad. My brother & mom got the same one. It looks cute and it wipes down easily. Don’t get a soft plushy changing pad. Babies make messes! This fits right on top of our dresser.

My most used favorite product to change my baby. She loves looking at the small mobile above. It's also easy to clean. I add my own charging pads, and it works out great.
