Overview

Description

Skip Hop’s coordinated set includes some of its popular and ever-practical whale-shaped Moby bath items, including a waterfall rinser, kneeler, elbow rest and spout cover.

The waterfall rinser makes rinsing shampoo a tear-free experience. A soft rubber lip fits snuggly on baby’s forehead so you can pour water without getting any in baby’s eyes. The easy grip handle allows you to hold the rinser in one hand and baby in the other.

Made of thick, quick-dry neoprene, the kneeling pad is meant to protect you, saving your knees from the hard bathroom floor. It’s sized compactly so it won’t take up too much space in the bathroom, and there’s a built in hanging loop for easy storage.

Also for your benefit, the cushy elbow rest is a long pad that goes over the edge of the tub, saving your elbows (and arms and chest) when you lean over to give your little one a bath, especially if you have a tub with a sliding shower door and metal rail. The pad stays in place with a nonskid backing and suction cups, and it has a small zippered pocket for stashing your watch or jewelry.

And finally, the durable spout cover is an essential bathtime friend, protecting your little one from faucet bumps and bruises. It’s designed to fit over most spouts, but works best on a standard spout with a shower diverter that can stick out, anchoring the cover. The fins are connected to an adjustable strap that tightens around the bottom, and the tail doubles as a hook so you can hang it to dry.

Like any bath accessories, make sure to rinse and/or air dry these after every use to prevent mold and mildew growth.

Cute, but not super functional.
I’ve been using this set for a little under a year. The knee and elbow pads can’t be washed in the washer, and after a few months they started looking dingy and smelled of mildew. I leave them in place after the bath and they don’t get particularly wet during the bath, but I guess they don’t dry quickly enough to prevent mildew growth. They say they are only to be wiped clean, but that’s not a good design for any baby item. The faucet cover does not stay on my faucet, and when I tighten it, the tightening strap slides back out so it doesn’t hold. This would likely vary with shape of faucet, so it may work fine for others. The rinser is the only item that works well for us, but other than being cute, it’s not really anything special. My baby does like to hold her hands under the waterfall while I pour it.

My baby’s bath experience works well with these items. The cup to throw water on him after is one of my favorites.

The floor mat could be bigger but it does the job well.

Pretty Good
Everything seems really nice except for the elbow saver. It's small and the suction cups on the front don't suction on my tub since my tub isn't completely flat therefore it can't stay in place and moves around a lot. Will have to return.
