The Graco Premier Midtown collection is tailored with premium materials and design.

Featuring SnugRide performance, this infant car seat protects rear-facing infants from 4-30 lbs and up to 32”, and pairs safety technologies with easy installation and comfort features.

The SnugRide SnugFit XT features an Anti-Rebound Bar, which provides an additional layer of rear-facing safety by limiting rotation of the seat and child in the event of an impact.

SnugLock technology installs in less than one minute using vehicle seat belt or LATCH. With the front-adjust, No-Rethread Simply Safe Adjust Harness System, the headrest and harness can be adjusted together while they’re in the seat.

The Silent Shade canopy and privacy drape adjust quietly without disturbing baby, and a one-hand adjustable handle makes getting them in and out easier.

An integrated storage pocket keeps personal items handy. Plus, the Rapid Remove seat pad quickly and easily removes for cleaning.

Would not buy again
3 stars because of safety ratings, otherwise I pretty much hate this car seat. The handle is not easy to move back and forth, the car does not release smoothly from “click connect”, attaching it to a stroller is like trying to land a space ship blind, and that canopy is so frustrating to move back and forth - the carrier arm has to be up for it to fit underneath. I would not buy this car seat again due to not being user friendly. We have been using it for 9 months so I have given it time . The grandmas who help out dislike it as well.

For the Trendy Fam!
Just upgraded my basic level Graco to this higher level infant car seat. So far, I love it! Looks exactly like the picture. Beautiful detailing. Feels very high end without the price. Only thing I wish was different was having more space from the carrying handle and the canopy. I feel like I have to flight to get the canopy under the handle. Not much room to put your hand. That’s the only thing I wish I could change!

Sun canopy is a safety hazard
I’ve had this car seat for 5 months now and I’m not a fan. I originally had the Snugride Elite one and loved it. There was an issue getting the seat from the base so Graco offered to send a new one but they told me mine wasn’t available anymore and they only had the option to send this one. I see now my old one is available but it’s a new color so that’s annoying. Anyway the shade canopy on this seat constantly falls down while in the car and it literally drapes all over my sons face. I don’t see how this isn’t a safety hazard, I can only fix it by pulling over and getting back there to fix it.The only thing holding it up is fabric and a wire.

I had bought this for my new baby… & noticed the car seat I received was not the same as the picture… not sure what happened? It’s like my version was not right?

Great seat, but older manufacturer date
I loved this carseat as soon as I took it out of the box. I have an entry level Graco carrier from years ago and this is an upgrade in every way. The two complaints I had with my old seat were the 2 handed handle and the skimpy shade, both of which have been addressed on this seat! Love!
I gave only 3 stars because I was shipped a seat that was manufactured 18 months ago. With a 7 year lifespan, that is about 25%. I suppose that is why it was on sale, but it disappoints me as this seat won't last through all our *planned* children 😆

Not worth the money.
I was sent this one because the one I had purchased had a lock defect (different model). This one has different features that I do not care for. The sun canopy shade always falls down on my sons face while driving. So he’s freaking out and can’t see me. Contacted Graco about the issue but they don’t seem to take it too seriously.

Such an upscale looking seat for a great price!
Love love love this infant seat. I got it to match the modes 2 grow stroller (also in midtown) and they look so good together! It is so fun to be able to pick out stuff for our baby that is not only functional and looks super nice, but that we also know has such a great safety rating. I love that this can be connected to the stroller as well. So handy, especially once we have more kids!

Great infant car seat
I bought 2 of these as I’m expecting twins in March. The car seats are very well made. They look very high quality and I was impressed by the price. I was a bit disappointed because when I bought them I was under the assumption that it came with the load leg technology for the base but after receiving it I found out it doesn’t and they aren’t sold separately and I wasn’t able to switch them which is a disappointment

Happy
Love the car seat. Very comfy for the baby. Thought we needed the extras like the harness holder for easy in and out and silent canopy but could do with out it. The harness doesn't even stay put. Could of went with a cheaper car seat that had everything but those features. Wish the car seat crash rating was more accessible, hard to believe its so hard to figure out which car seat has a better crash rating. Did hour and hours of research with hardly any luck. Overall happy with car seat.

Uglier than shown
For the price, I thought this car seat would look nicer. The pictures on this site are very misleading. It is absolutely covered in warning and other labels. I know there are laws requiring some of these things, but compared to my previous car seat (purchased only 3 years ago) it has way more ugly labels, more prominently placed. Surely people could figure out "headrest and harness adjust" without it being labeled. Same with "privacy drape storage." Also, it is impossible to store the privacy drape completely out of sight - it sags out of the storage pouch and looks ugly and messy. It seems like a safe car seat (although no better than less expensive Graco models) but let's face it - part of the reason for spending extra on a seat like this is wanting a seat that looks nice.

It's also heavier and a bit harder to carry than my previous one.
