This infant car seat features an Anti-Rebound Bar, providing an additional layer of rear-facing safety by limiting rotation of the seat and child in the event of an impact.
SnugRide performance helps to protect rear-facing infants from 4-30 lbs and up to 32”. SnugLock technology installs in less than one minute using vehicle seat belt or LATCH.
The headrest and harness can be adjusted together while your child is in the seat with the front-adjust No-Rethread Simply Safe Adjust Harness System.

No, this car seat is an infant car seat meaning it can only be used rear-facing when installed in the car. The adjustable foot on the base has 5 positions to allow you to get the correct angle when installed in most cars.

Locking system not easily secured and hard to rem!
I bought this product for my first baby and honestly wish I went with a more expensive brand. This car seat doesn’t properly lock or click into the base and I hear it lock in place sometimes when leaving the driveway after thinking it was already secured. Also, it’s sometimes nearly impossible to get the car seat out of the base. I squeeze the release button and pull up with all my strength but it still won’t budge. I have to remove my baby from the car seat first and then squeeze the release buttons with both hands and then pull. It’s extremely difficult concerning. I’m praying that my baby is safe in this car seat. I try very hard to have everything installed correctly and have my baby properly placed and strapped in the car seat yet I feel like I’m in a battle with my car seat. I would not recommend this product.

Amazing buy for the elements
Just as described and got it at a great price for black Friday. This will be great for the Alaskan winter without having to smother the baby in layers when she comes in February. Wonderfully made with features such as the level based on age. Haven't tried it yet but we are excited.

Gets stuck
I am 3 months into using these seats for my twins and I hate them so much. Every single time I have to get them out of the car seat or off the stroller the handle in the back gets stuck so I need two hand to squeeze the lever and have to use so much force to get them up. They also feel like they don’t click into the base all the way so I have to push them down firmly when I put them in. I’ve had all Graco products for my 4 children total and this is by far the worst seat I’ve had

Advise Against Buying This Model
I wanted to love this car seat but cannot. Unsafe - need to forcefully push down each corner of seat in order to secure into base. VERY difficult to get out of the base. Canopy gets stuck under handle. One handed push button to move handle gets stuck coming half way down. My son is 2.5 months old - 18 lbs and the car seat headrest makes it a really tight fit. This car seat advertises that it hold babies up to 45 lbs I believe. $292.00 for this car seat and I now need to look for another car seat that is compatible with our stroller. Graco really lost sight of what was important to families with this car seat. 3rd child - 4th Graco car seat - very disappointed. We will need to reconsider our love for Graco after this one.

DO NOT BUY
WORST CAR SEAT EVER. We purchased the Premier Snugride Snugfit 35 Elite Seat in Savoy. There's a reason it is no longer offered on the website. It absolutely SUCKS. It started out great. Cute seat, happy baby, nice fit. After a few months the seat was getting stuck in the base. Then I noticed the seat was not latching properly. I would hear the clicks and think it was all good. Pulling out of our driveway one day I heard it click again. When I got out to check, I had to forcefully push down each side to ensure it was locked in place. This is highly unsafe!! We have four bases total as we have four vehicles transporting my son, those bases are not cheap! I initially thought the base I had was bad as none of the other bases had the issue I was having, but after I emailed Graco one of the other bases started doing the same thing! Maybe since mine was primarily used while on maternity leave it was broken in more and now my husbands has been getting more use and showing signs of issues. I shouldn't have to put my body weight on his carseat to ensure that it is locked in place. I also should not have to use two hands on the release button to release the seat because it is stuck. Even then it doesn't always come out or only one side will release. I hope Graco will do something about this issue. I have emailed them, just waiting on a response.

First time mom
Love it! So cute and comfy. From day one, I’ve never been concerned about safety with this seat. I bought it as a first time mom and wanted one with the rebound bar for extra protection. It’s so easy to maneuver and my baby is happy with it. The fabric is excellent quality. We have been using for 3,months and you would never be able to tell. My only suggestion would be to possibly add a breathable strip down the middle so baby doesn’t get sweaty.

So far SO GOOD!
We are excited to meet our baby girl in a few weeks! We haven't used our car seat yet but I'm very impressed with the quality, ease of install, and price point on this car seat. 4/5 because I can't give it a full 5 stars until baby girl comes home with us in it but I'm confident this is the car seat for us based on installing and practicing with a baby doll haha!

Does not latch into base well at all.
This car seat makes me so frustrated every single time we go anywhere. When you sit it in the base, it’ll click once, maybe twice. So you THINK your baby is safe. But if you push on all 4 of the corners of the car seat, you’ll find out that it’ll click several more times!!!! Meaning it’s falsely leading parents to believe the car seat is secure! And 50% of the time, when I go to remove the seat, it’s stuck. It will release in one area, but not fully. So the only way I’ve found to get it unstuck is to push down on all 4 corners to relatch the car seat into the base, then start over trying to pull it out. The car seat crotch buckle also leaves such a gap between the buckle and crotch on a newborn, it allows for baby to slide down and scrunch up. Baby didn’t fit good in this car seat until about 10 lbs. All of that being said, the material is really nice. The design is nice. And the strap adjusting is super convenient and easy to use. Same with the one button handle. Overall though, I would not recommend this exact car seat to anyone I know. Matter of fact, a friend had this on their registry and after I explained all of this to them, they switched to a different Graco seat. Being able to rely on the car seat being clicked in FULLY EVERY TIME is a deal breaker.

Great car seat…base is just okay
I received this as a baby shower gift and my baby is almost 2 months old. They car seat is great! Fits her well and she looks so comfortable in it. The weather boot is an added plus! My baby likes to kick the blanket off her legs. This weather boot keeps her warm without the blanket she constantly kicks off or could turn into a safety issue. Now the base…it is great when it wants to work correctly. Some times it will not let go of the car seat. The handle locks up and there is no way to get it off without using your entire body weight and rocking the car seat back and forth. I guess that comes in handy if I were to be in a car accident…I know it wouldn’t go anywhere. But when you don’t have 10 minutes to use with it …it’s annoying. I also have problems with the car seat not wanting to get out of the premier savory stroller. ..so maybe it’s a car seat latch issue.
