JumpStart 4-in-1 Activity Bouncer

I bought this for my 3 month old, thinking it would be an awesome bouncer and help me in the kitchen when she wants to be near me but also in her swing. But she is only 13lbs and the recommended seat placement for under 4 months old is in position 2 and when I put it like that for her, her butt is on the actual ground in it and it doesn't even bounce. I am beyond disappointed with my purchase and think this is the worst purchase I've made for her and especially from graco. The seat sitting part is nice but same issue is that she sits in it, but it isn't deep enough and can almost lean forward far enough to fall out. So I am annoyed with it and was very mislead. I am now out $160 and still don't have a bouncer my baby can even use.
It needs to be built differnt so that way the parent can put their foot on the front and actually bounce/rock it while baby is in it and not just collapse and the springs are maxed out with a 13lb baby!

Very unsatisfied and a waste of money. DO NOT Recommend this product!

The only reason for 2 stars is because i like the material and the color. Other than that it is awful.

My 2 month old baby loves it. He hates the bassinet but somehow can lay here alone up to 30 minutes. Easy to assemble and wash. Looking forward to using the other configurations.

As a Mom or 3 (19,17 & 11yo) I have always been a huge fan of Graco products. That was my go to brand when my boys were little. Naturally when I recently became a Foster Mom to a sweet newborn girl I immediately turned to Graco to find the gear I'd need for her.
As soon as I found the Graco JumpStart 4-in-1 Activity Bouncer I thought it was the perfect all-in-one, compact solution to our baby needs. I immediately contacted Child Services for an approval to purchase the seat, as the item they would assist with financially, since it is a bit pricey. Within minutes of getting the approval I purchased the seat and submitted my receipt to Child Services.
I was thrilled when the bouncer arrived. It went together extremely easily. I loved that no tools were needed, and it was ready to use within minutes of taking it out of the box. I loved that it does fold flat to store. It's a bit bigger than I expected and it's my fault for not reading details better but I didn't realize the seats have to be switched out. So it all doesn't store as one solid piece. But not a deal breaker as neither seat attachment is very big. It's just a little inconvenient if you want to switch back and forth between the bouncer and seat mode very much.
However, my excitement quickly faded as I began using the item. Baby is tiny (now 3 months and only 10-11lbs). We started with the bouncer in position 2. First off... I love that the seatbelt cover goes all the way across baby, so it's not just exposed straps. Unfortunately though the seatbelt in the tightest position is still huge. The straps can extend tremendously to accommodate a larger baby (which would be pointless since the weight capacity doesn't match that), but it does not go small enough to hold a smaller baby in snuggly. Secondly... Her minimal weight (10lbs) was enough to fully compress the piston type suspension and she looked to be practically laying on the floor. We went ahead and put it into position 1, which did raise her up to a more normal bouncer angle, but the pistons were still completely compressed. No matter how hard baby kicks her feet the seat barely moves. The only way to get a half-way decent bounce from the seat is to sit there and lift up and down on it. Don't lift up and let go though, because it will just drop down quickly with an abrupt stop at the end scaring the baby.
Yet another drawback to the seat is: There are no vibrations, sounds, toy bars, etc to help soothe or entertain baby.
We tried the sit me up seat mode since she has great head control for a baby her age. She loves sitting up and looking at everything around her, so the seat was nice for a short period. Again, there are no soothing/entertainment features to this seat at all, so she quickly became frustrated. I tried suction toys on the tray, but the tray is so small the suction base of the toys, we had, were all too big. You need extremely small bases on suction toys for them to fit. I tried propping up other toys, but by this time it was a lost cause.
We tried out the jumper mode with a friend's baby and if you're like us and are hoping for typical jumper action you're not going to get that from this seat. The piston again instantly compressed until baby straighted her legs, taking weight off. She has a typical jumper at home, so she started jumping and was not happy with the result. She jumped up and instead of gradually going up and gently coming down to jump again, she pretty much just jumped up to crash down to a dead stop as the piston compressed all the way to an abrupt stop, which she did not like at all. She stood there a minute seeming confused and tried again. Each attempt resulting in the same disappointed seated crash, with no "springy" action. She quickly wanted out of the seat to jump in our arms with the smooth up and down motion she expected from being held or from a typical jumper.
All-in-all I wish I would have researched this seat more before purchasing. I've only had the seat for 3 days, and haven't even had a chance to be reimbursed by child services and already regret purchasing it. For costing $150 and being a Graco product I was really expecting sooooo much more!! I have now done to realize most of the reviews of the product are from people who received it free, so probably not as big if a deal for them since they weren't searching for the right seat and value for their money. If you're getting it free, sure, go for it!! You will probably go back to your other products you had previously though. If you're wanting a product to match your expectations and the cost, then this is not the item you want to get!!

I love the look and design of this 4-in-1 activity bouncer. I like that it is gender neutral and nit super bold or tacky. I like the 4 different features. I never thought of a bouncer turned seat for my toddlers. I have four kids and I like having somewhere to put my youngest that I feel is safe. It also give me someplace to set him down when I am cooking or showering. He seems happy and I get to keep my hands freer. The fabric seems very nice. It hasn't shown any stains yet. My favorite feature is the bouncer seat for Littles. I don't have a lot of space to store multiple bouncers and seats so I really like the versatility. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this bouncer. The assembly instructions were a bit confusing, but once we were able to put it together I loved the functionality. Moving the bouncer to the different positions was easy and efficient. The one thing I would change would be to add some kind of locking mechanism for when the seat is folded flat. Otherwise when you carry it around it will slide back into one of the sitting positions. The fabric looks and feels like it is high quality. The modern and classic look is what we prefer. It was also easy to wipe down and keep clean. I look forward to using this bouncer as my baby grows. It’s so convenient to be able to use the same seat for different positions. I would definitely recommend this product.

This bouncer is such a space saver. I love that there are 2 different seats that fit the one frame. I’m a huge fan of convertible baby gear. I really like the neutral tones and the design is sleek. At first I thought the fabric was a beige heathered jersey fabric but it’s a synthetic fabric with a printed design. Initially I didn’t like that but now I realize it doesn’t heat up my baby’s back and is much easier to wipe clean. It also keeps its shape and doesn’t stretch out.
My baby is 4 month old so he can almost use all 4 modes of the seat. When he’s just relaxing, I have it reclined in the infant bouncer mode. When he’s a little more active, I attach an activity bar and change the height to the kid chair with the belt. Even my toddler liked to sit in the chair that way.
My baby has started wanting to lift his head and sit instead of lying flat in a reclined chair so I have sat him in the floor chair briefly and he seemed to enjoy that. I like the little tray it comes with to hold some toys or snacks when baby will be old enough for that. My baby will soon be ready for the jumper mode and I like that it’s included in this seat because typical baby jumpers take up so much space, but this all-in-one bouncer is so compact and it folds pretty slim.
It is sometimes tough to change the height on the seat because I have to press both buttons on each side and don’t always have both hands free. I also like the belt buckles which are quicker and easier to use than a button style like other popular bouncer chairs.

This 4-in-1 activity bouncer is great. Love the multiple ways that it can go. Meaning it can be a sit me up chair, a jumper, a bouncer , and a child chair. Love the seats fabric and the color it is. It's sturdy in materials and I feel like it will last a long time. I love that my child can grow with it and not out grow the features of it until my child is much older. It is very easy to assemble and fold down as well. I love the hydraulic like bouncer springs in it. It's very modern looking. I definitely recommend this product to anyone. Best part is that I want to thank Stellar Product Testing Panel for the opportunity to try this out. It in my eyes is a must have.

I received the Graco Jumpstart 4in1 Activity Bouncer as part of the Stellar Testing Panel. I like the concept of a multiuse item but I often find that some of the settings/stages aren't always functional. In the case of the Jumpstart, I can see younger babies getting lots of use of the first 2 or 3 settings but I dont see my 8 month old or almost 3 year old ever using the kid chair setting as it's too reclined and small. I do like how the neutral color blends in with our home decor, the material of the seat seems durable and easy to clean but the frame is plastic and durability is questionable. The assembly was tricky when relying on just the manual but I watched the online videos available to help put it together. Overall, I think it's a great idea but not something that's useful at this stage for both my LO's.

The crotch buckle is just tucked in the seat and you can covert it back to a baby bouncer super easily .

Seat Fabrics: The seat fabrics are aesthetically pleasing, soft and easy to clean. The machine-washable covers are a lifesaver. The fabric is thin enough to be breathable, but sturdy enough for my rough boys.

Favorite Feature: My absolute favorite part of owning this is that I don’t have to buy multiple baby seats, bouncers, chairs, etc since it’s so versatile ….and that my living room stays looking put together!
