Description

This is one of the nicest swing/rocker combos from baby giant Graco. It is allows you to position the seat in three different ways so baby can sway side-to-side or front-to-back. And the rocker can be removed so you can bring it around the house with you. It’s so great, it got enough votes from parents to win its way onto our Best Bouncers and Swings guide.

What’s the difference between a rocker and a swing anyway? Swings have machine-powered motion and lots of settings. Rockers respond to your baby’s movement or a push from a parent and are powered mainly by inertia. Rockers are easier to move around the house, whereas a swing is basically a new piece of furniture.

What else is there to the Duet Soothe? In addition to the multi-direction swing, the rocker has two vibration settings to keep baby calm and 15 songs and sounds. A harness keeps babies secure. The overhead bar suspends detachable plush toys.

This swing does occupy a lot of space, so if you live in tighter quarters consider a bouncer that collapses flat like the BabyBjorn Balance Bouncer or a smaller swing like Graco’s Cozy Duet.

Great swing minus motor issues
Love the swing for my grandson & he loves it to, the music pits him right to sleep..but right away had an issue with the motor, grateful I was able to replace it for free.. received the new motor and now there is a clicking sound when it rocks which wakes him up. So not very pleased with that & not sure if it can be replaced for free again.

It’s okay
I wish the mobile actually spun around & there was a slower rocking setting appropriate for a NB. The vibration feature also doesn’t work.

Makes noise
It is a little wonky.
It makes a weird noise when it is rocking and my baby only weighs 9 pounds i am scared for how it will be when my baby does get bigger.
The part where the little teddy bears hang does not move on its own and there are no lights.
The detachable chair is nice but overall i feel that it is priced too high for what it’s worth and wish i would have kept looking further.

Saving Grace for Mom & Dad
This is great to give mom & dad time from holding or soothing the baby. The rocking motion, vibration and music helps to sooth a cranky baby or help if baby is starting to be come spoiled. Wanting to be held all the time when a wake.

You might get a year out of it.
It’s unfortunate that this swing is almost $200 and Graco only guarantees it’s used for one year. I was gifted this swing in 2022 and my daughter used it for about six months before she grew out of it. So technically, I’ve had this swing for a couple years but only got six months use out of it. I tried to use it for baby number two and it will not turn on from one day to the next It just stopped working. My son is three weeks old he didn’t get the chance to use it at all. I called customer service and the best they can do is have me purchase a new motor.

Cute
This came in a decent size box , because it’s a bouncer/swing I thought it would be bulky but on the contrary, this is super portable for on the go . The bouncer is at a perfect height to have near you at a safe distance . The print is unisex and the mobile is adorable !!! Graco website usually has a 10% or 20% making this affordable.

Perfect nap sitter
Love the durability of the swing and the safety features besides the comfort level every little part of this swing is the best for lil ones I used it for quick naps

Awesome swing my son loved it.
I have this in my closet currently. Waiting to put it back together. But I had this with my first son and he loved it. It was very easy to put together and moved around the house if needed.

All Graco swings seem to die
This was provided as a warranty replacement for the last Graco swing I had. That one also died. Plugged in or batteries, it just stopped working one day. Really disappointed as my infant son loved it.
