Customer reviews
- Solid product that looks and feels high quality
- Beautiful design and material - The seawool fabric is gorgeous, comfortable and sustainable
- Unique look - I love finding a quality product that isn't like everything else on the market. The canopy is huge!
- Comfortable for my baby - My baby is very opinionated and she was immediately comfortable and happy in the Tura stroller.
- Rolls and navigates very smoothly.
- Versatile options for seat positioning as well as the ability to connect a car seat.
I really love this stroller and only had a few items that stuck out to me as areas that some parents may prefer different options. The storage basket is spacious, but I prefer even more space for all of our things. The handlebar does not move up and down. At only 5' 2", I like when a stroller has a handlebar that moves up and down. The handlebar on the Tura pivots toward the user to be lower, but it provides a different feel when pushing. It takes some getting used to. Finally, the stroller IS high quality and feels very sturdy, but it is heavy and large. It doesn't feel overly heavy while pushing, but when lifting into a car and moving around, it can be a bit cumbersome.
Overall, this stroller is one of my favorites on the market and I enjoyed testing it!
The packaging was a pain. Brilliant concept but hard to open. Or it could have just been me. I ended up using scissors to cut off the cardboard.
The break is not great. The stroller still moves about 1.5 inches. It’s enough where I kept thinking I didn’t have the break on.
If the foot rest is in the lowest angle, it interferes with the bottom of the stroller. I need to take the toddler seat off to move it.
The foot rest doesn’t lock. I’m able to move it up. I know this is design intent but I constantly was moving it up when I didn’t want to. Specifically when collapsing it, the foot rest would open straight. Again, this could just be user error.
The canopy zipper gets caught while zipping and unzipping.
I am unsure how many position the toddler seat has. I can lean it back and it clicks, then I can lean it further back but it doesn’t click and it can bounce around.
The toddle handle bar has different tolerances on both sides. If you have one side attached, it is very loose and will flop around. If I have the other side attached, it’s stiff and stays vertical. I like the stiffer side.
Pros. I really like the look of the stroller. It looks like a great stroller. The fabric is really nice. The insert seat and toddler seat are very cushiony.
I like the movement of the wheels. Very smooth.
I love the size of the canopy. It covers quite a bit of the toddler seat.
My husband loved the handle levels. He likes that it rotates up instead of a linear movement.
The front wheels can lock and eliminates turning movement. I am not too sure why I would need this, maybe when collapsing the stroller but it’s nice to have.
The shoulder straps “clip” to the waist strap. This is a great feature, I do not have to hold the two straps together while trying to get them into the center clasp. Also, I don’t have to undo them when I take my baby out of the stroller. It saves a lot of hassle. I like the center slip takes force to undo. My baby is definitely not undoing that clasp any time soon.
I like the storage basket underneath. It has a hard bottom and keeps my things nice and neat. Great square design. I also love that the storage basket can fold up and out of the way.
I love that it comes with the baby insert.
Collapsing and opening the stroller is easy.
I have tried many standard strollers and the wheels on this one are my top tier favorite. They are like bike wheels! Turning radius is as good as you can get without being a jogger. And it rides SMOOTH.
To touch on the details: this entire travel system uses magnets well. It’s really smart and the magnets are strong; they hold covers/canopies together nicely. And the stroller canopy is massive…your kid can have a full-on cave nest in there. I want one for me. Also, the fabrics look expensive. You will be the bougie parent at the coffee shop.
For traveling purposes I would say that the stroller is middle of the road for its weight; it’s solidly built so definitely not light, but I’m a pretty small human and I can lift it into the trunk of my SUV without problems. Included a pic of how it fits in my trunk with the third row down. I do find it a little unwieldy when folded but not super heavy.
Last, it seems like such a small detail but the adjustable foot rest is so clutch. I have used this for both my six month old babies and my 2 year old toddler and I love that I can flip that thing up and down based on the height or shenanigans of the child.
As a mom of three kids two and under, I love this thing! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stroller. It fits in well with my traveling circus.
As a second-time mom to a baby and a two-year-old, I’ve had the opportunity to try many strollers. After using the Romer Tura stroller, I can absolutely attest to its quality, ease of use, and aesthetics. If you are looking for a modular stroller that grows with your little one, this is a great choice!
What I love:
-The stroller is very simple to unbox and assemble. Coming from someone who has assembled a stroller with the wheels on backwards with my firstborn, I know how confusing it can be to make sure baby gear is assembled correctly! This stroller requires minimal assembly, and it was easy enough for me to figure out and set up within minutes.
-Folding and unfolding the stroller is a breeze and a quick process. This is an absolute must when you are getting kids in and out of the car for walks!
-I love that the stroller seat can face outward or inward. As the mom of a toddler who has very little patience to sit in a stroller for walks, this novelty is a game changer when you need to switch things up.
-The seat recline and footrest have a variety of settings to keep your growing baby/toddler comfortable! I especially loved that my toddler can sit almost entirely upright, which she is unable to do in other strollers we’ve tried. The footrest is also great because I know she won’t have sore knees from not having her legs fully supported.
-The canopy is UPF 50 and has excellent coverage! You can unzip an extension panel for extra sun protection, which is an absolute must-have for our family.
-The Seawool fabrics, cushion, and leatherette handlebars all feel and look very high-end. The added cushion makes the seat even more plush and comfortable for my toddler. She seemed very comfortable during our walks.
-The handlebar is adjustable and is comfortable for people of varying heights to push, including me (5’4”) and my husband (6’0”).
-There is a very spacious storage basket on the bottom of the stroller that could easily fit a diaper bag, grocery bag, or whatever else you want to bring along.
-The stroller’s wheels feel very high quality and have great traction.
-The stroller maneuvers very well and is easy to push – we tested this on the snow, ice, salt/sand, and slush on the steep hills of our upper Midwestern winter roads, and it handled beautifully!
What could be improved:
-It would be great to have a frame option for two seats for those with more than one child. I love the flexibility to switch between the seat, bassinet attachment, or car seat, but it would be even better if there was a two-seat option for families with more than one small child.
-I would love to see a parent console/cup holder, but this can easily be solved by adding your own Velcro or clip-on bag.
Honestly, there is very little I would change about the Romer Tura stroller. This is a well-built, aesthetically pleasing, easy-to-operate, and comfortable stroller for both caregiver and child, and I highly recommend it! My favorite feature is the adjustable seat direction, which keeps my toddler engaged and happy during our walks.
I like the look and feel of the sustainable seawool fabric. It looks very high-end while also feeling durable to withstand time and weather. Both of my children were very comfortable when riding in this stroller and enjoyed their time while riding. I can tell this product was made with a child’s safety and comfort in mind.
This stroller is very easy to maneuver! I like how smooth it moves. I have used it around my neighborhood on walks and it moves very well on both smooth and bumpy terrain.
As a mom of two kids with a lot to carry, my favorite feature of this stroller is the very large basket underneath that provides more than enough space for my diaper bags, my purse and water. I do wish this stroller had a cup holder but I plan to get a caddy to attach. I also wish this stroller had a bar by the basket underneath to hook a stroller riding board, then my toddler could ride while my infant is in the stroller.
Overall, I really like using this stroller and I love the way it looks and feels. It would be the perfect stroller for a first time family/family with one child. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stroller.
The stroller pushed like a dream. It has a solid central suspension to keep baby from feeling all the bumps of the road, sidewalks, and uneven paths. It also has really nice all terrain puncture free wheels. We used this in snowy New England and it had no problem pushing through with a little ice and snow.
The large, extendable UPF 50+ sun canopy is also perfect for keeping baby safely shaded from the sun. The basket is huge and was able to hold a relatively large food shopping haul which is impressive!
My favorite feature was the compact self standing fold. I didn’t have to bend down far to pick it up and load it in the car.
Overall this is a terrific stroller if you are looking for both quality and safety for your little one. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stroller.
