The Organic Dream Organic Cotton Lightweight 2-Stage Crib Mattress is made from hypoallergenic organic cotton for comfort and premium support. The two-stage design features a firm side for infants and a slightly less firm for your toddler’s comfort.

Highly breathable air surfaces greatly reduce the risk of suffocation. The Pure-Air core made from baby-safe, food-grade polymer.

If it comes with a mattress cover already, why do you recommend purchasing one? ?

You don't need to purchase a mattress cover for this mattress. A second mattress cover can be helpful for when one is the washing machine, or you might opt for a waterproof cover instead.

Does putting a sheet on this mattress reduce the breathability?

Putting a sheet on the mattress can reduce its breathability to some extent. The degree of impact depends on the type of sheet and the materials of the mattress.

This issue isn't common. The core of the mattress is designed to be dense, thick and supportive, so this has only occurred with a few mattresses over time.

How can I tell which side is the infant side and which is the toddler side? It is not labeled and feels like the same firmness on both sides.

The hard/firmer side is for infants while the softer side is for toddlers. If you unzip the cover, there should be a tag that tells you which is which.

I saw a review of pictures of the tag from this mattress stating the material is actually polyeurethane foam which goes against everything this mattress is claiming. What's the truth?

The foam is made of food-grade polymer. It does not contain polyurethane.

Amazing
WE finally set up the crib and my baby loves this mattress. She has a crib at daycare but this one is so much better, softer and safer. Worth every penny.

Perfect Mattress

Perfect crib mattress
This mattress is wonderful! As a first time mom I wasn't sure what to expect but based on the size of the crib that my dad built, the mattress fit perfectly. I love that you can remove the mattress cover and wash it in case of any spills, soils, or messes. Overall, the mattress is comfortable, perfect size, and does not have any weird smells that my baby dislikes. This is a great addition to our nursery!

Lightweight & organic cotton
Haven’t used it yet but I think this will be a great crib mattress when our baby arrives! It is super light weight, at 7 months pregnant I’m able to toss it around like nothing. I like that it has two sides, it seems like it will last a long time and seems well made! Love the organic cotton cover and that it’s breathable. Fits the Davinci crib we got, and looks super nice! I also appreciate the price, there are a lot of similar products on the market that are way more expensive.

Great!
I just got the mattress today. It's on the crib, and the baby is sleeping on it! It looks great, feels soft to the touch, and is pretty light. There are no odd or chemical smells, so everything is perfect!

Great buy!!
I read so many reviews on crib mattresses and loved that this option was highly rated but also more affordable than the bigger organic brands. The firmness is perfect, I feel totally safe with this mattress for our first baby, and it doesn’t have any weird smells and arrived in perfect condition. I also love that our baby girl can grow with it into the toddler stage!
