Description

The Maxi-Cosi Minla has five recline positions, four tray positions and eight heights, allowing it to go from infant seat (with a removable cozy inlay for support) to sleek high chair to cool booster seat. For the big kid booster mode, just remove the back of the high chair and pull it up to the table.

Made of high-quality materials, the Mina is super low-maintenance with a zip-off seat pad that’s easy to wipe down or toss in the wash, plus a dishwasher-safe tray insert. When it’s not being used, the Minla folds compactly and tucks out of the way.

Classic Oat color is exclusive to Babylist, so you’ll only find it here.

What are the straps made out of? How do you clean them? ?

They don't. Only the back wheels of this high chair move in 360° rotation.

What are the dimensions of the tray? I am wondering if the ezpz mini bowl and happy mat fit. The mini bowl is 8.7” x 7” x 1.25” and the happy mat is 14” x 9” x 1”.

They should fit since the Minla tray measures approximately 22.5" long x 12" wide.

The chair can be used without the light gray interior cushion, although it is recommended to support younger babies. The outer dark grey cushion can be zipped off for easy washing, but is recommended to be used until the seat is transitioned to the toddler booster.

Impossible-to-open buckle and terrible fabric
REALLY hard to open the buckle. I am young and healthy so if it’s hard for me, can’t even imagine how it would be for grandparents or anyone with Hulk strength in their fingers. And the fabric is terrible. I can already tell it would need to be machine washed after every use. Not an easily wipeable fabric. So annoyed.

Best long term investment
This is hands down one of the top 3 best things I've invested in when my son was born a little over two years ago. Expensive but worth every single penny. In addition to its many features our son learned to walk with it. He loved crawling over to the chair and pushing it around. I could write an essay about the many things I love about the chair, but in short I love how easily it moves around, it can be quickly folded up and stowed away, it rolls nicelt on the floor without scratching it, it has breaks!!!!, it's super easy to wash the seat cover etc etc. More than two years on and it still looks brand new. We love it.

Pediatrician Approved
As a mom (who happens to also be a pediatrician) I love this chair. I know a couple of reviews had concerns over safety. I don't find this high chair to be unsafe at all. Accidents with young children are bound to happen but I can't see a child falling out of this chair unless they have been unbuckled or the chair is not being used properly. I've been using this chair for a year and Im purchasing a second for the grandparents to have. I've washed the removable cover several times and so far it has held up well. I find it reasonably easy to clean but I must admit I don't have anything to compare it to. I also have yet to use the booster seat as my little one is not yet old enough. My favorite thing about the chair is how compact it becomes if folded down when not in use. I would definitely recommend.

This chair needs design a change
First day of use a baby slipped out of the chair and landed on the floor. There needs to be a design change, where there is a stop in the crotch area to keep a baby from sliding out. The current design has the stop on the tray, but once the tray is removed, there is nothing to stop a squirming baby from sliding out. My DIL removed the tray, undid the safety belts, was taking out the baby and turned her head due to a noise and that split second was enough to have the baby land on the floor and smack her head. This is not a first child and my DIL is a wonderful caring mother and knows the hazards of turning your back even for a second. We will now be watching the baby for signs of concussion. A older model of chair was being replaced by this new chair, and now I wish I had never got it for them. We will be getting rid of this chair. The old chair is much safer. I would never buy this type of chair again and would never recommend it to anyone else. Nothing is worth the safety and well being of a baby. A change in style could prevent this kind of accident in the future.

Wish we had this sooner!
I have used many modern high chairs while nannying, and none impressed me. They always had awkward crevices to clean, were bulky, and were ugly in top of it all. With my own daughter, I used an antique wood high chair. Not great to clean or super functional, but at least it wasn't unsightly and large. Given this high chair, I'm a convert! The removable tray cover makes clean up a breeze. The fabric is easy to wipe clean. It rolls easily to place it as needed (can do this one handed while holding baby). Adjusting it to the various modes is simple. We took the top seat to a friend's for Christmas Eve dinner; it was easy to move and quick to install on their kitchen chair. I could actually enjoy dinner without a wiggly toddler on my lap. We see many years of use from this seat. And it's not ugly!

Functional design
Never could I have imagined such a beautiful high chair. I am ecstatic that this product will grow with my son. I never put it away as it is o beautiful and matches our home's aesthetic.

Very solid product!
This high chair is the best I've ever owned. It's super solid and will hold my infant and my 3 year old in the booster. The wipe-clean removeable top is super convenient. It's a wonderful addition to my dining room and far from an eye sore like other high chairs can be!

This high chair is seriously so good! I love that it lays all the way back so that our baby can have a bottle in it too
