Thank you for your email regarding my recent purchase. I appreciate your intention to seek feedback, but I must express how deeply disappointed I am with my experience.
As someone living with a disability, my abilities are already limited, and the challenges I faced with this order have only amplified my frustrations. I was excited to receive the car seat, especially since the picture suggested a lovely pink color that I thought would be perfect for my daughter. However, when the car seat arrived, it was a light purple, which was disheartening.
Reaching out to your customer service has been a stressful ordeal. I had to send multiple pictures of the item, and waiting for a return label felt like an eternity. Then came the daunting task of driving a long distance to drop off the heavy car seat at FedEx. I even had to tip the staff there because of the weight, which added to my distress.
Now that the item has been returned, I find myself in a waiting game once again—waiting for the return to be processed and then for the refund. This situation is not just inconvenient; it is upsetting and insensitive to my circumstances and my daughter's needs. The delay in getting a refund means I am unable to purchase a new car seat immediately, leaving us in a difficult position.
I hope you can understand the impact this experience has had on us. Thank you for taking the time to read my message. I sincerely hope that future customers won't have to endure the same struggles.

Description
Rue features removable three-piece inserts with comfy head support, body support and an infant wedge to support growing babies, plus it has soft cushioning and breathable knit fabrics. The UPF 50+ canopy protects skin and adds extra privacy. For grown-ups, the ergonomic handle has a soft grip and adjustable positioning to make toting more comfortable. When there’s a mess, the removable cover is easy to take off for machine washing.
Rue meets the standards for side and frontal impact protection, and it has an anti-rebound bar built into the base to reduce movement in the event of a crash. The compatible base includes built-in LATCH connectors that lock firmly to your vehicle’s points, so installation is both quick and secure.
To create a travel system, Rue connects to most Joie strollers with adapters (or directly to the arm bar on Nutmeg) so you can switch between driving and walking without disturbing baby.
Rue is tested to the newest safety standards (FMVSS 213a and 213b) with side impact protection to keep baby riding in the future of safety.

The Joie Rue Infant Car Seat is compatible with nutmeg, ginger and hazel strollers with the included adaptors (no double strollers).

I wanted to love this, but...
I never write reviews for any products but I felt compelled to share my thoughts on this. My wife and I purchased this car seat after doing hours and hours of research. We were so excited. However, after we installed it in our vehicle, it just doesn't feel very secure. I wanted to love this so much as the lightweight body is wonderful for carrying but I just can't, in good conscience, put my baby in an infant seat that slides back and forth so much to the left & right. We even took it to the fire station to have it installed properly and they told us that we should consider trying something else. It was a real loss as we were already outside the return window. Just be sure this seat will fit in your car before making your final decision.

Very happy with our purchase
We love our rue infant carrier and so does our baby girl. It’s lightweight and our daughter falls asleep as soon as we put her in It . Customer service was great too!

Lightweight, love the color
Bought this for my expectant granddaughter. Happy we found this company. I was excited to receive this car seat since it was hard to find a quality affordable car seat in a nice shade of pink. I love the color and how light the seat is.
