Description

The Chili Spin features a 360º spin that turns the car seat towards you so you can lift little ones straight in and out of the car and fasten them while they’re facing you. The turning activators are positioned on either side of the seat where they’re easy to reach.

The LockTight belt tensioner ensures the car seat is held firmly against the vehicle seat and won’t slide around. For safety, the cushioned headrest includes extra side impact protection to shield from crash forces. The anti-rebound bar built into the base also keeps the car seat firmly in place, reducing movement.

For comfort, the car seat features an adjustable infant insert that gives even the littlest babies a cozy fit, and can be easily removed once they’ve outgrown it. More features include the easy-click chest clip, easy-clean cup holders, soft cushioning and breathable knit fabrics.

The 4-position recline adjusts in seconds, whether in forward or rearward-facing mode. With the press of a button, you can also adjust the 10-position headrest and harness simultaneously to give little passengers a safer and more comfortable fit.

Such a help for this pregnant momma!
I’ve been using the Joie Chili Spin 360 car seat with my toddler, and it has made such a difference! I’m pregnant, and it was getting difficult to help her into a non-spinning car seat. Now, I don’t have to lean over, which is such a relief. Plus, my toddler thinks the spinning feature is so much fun! We plan on using it for our baby once he’s born too, as I’ll be having a C-section and won’t be able to lean over a traditional seat. It’s been a game-changer for us, and I highly recommend it!

BEST car seat ever
We were worried going from our expensive Nuna infant car seat to this, but the quality is there and we actually love it so much! The 360 is so easy compared to some of the other car seats we tried. We are going to be buying a second one for our other vehicle! I know some people will be hesitant because Joie is a newer brand here in the US, but we truly recommend it!

Excellent seat Excellent Price
We just bought this car seat for my 9 month old. First off the quality is great! It is comparable to our Nuna and the price is way better. She is comfortable and safe. It was very easy to install! After a week of having her new seat my baby dumped an entire bottle of milk into her lap and the seat was a dream to clean! SO SO easy! If the safety features don’t sell you on this seat let the ease of cleaning! I am so happy we went with this seat!

Easy Install and fit!
I bought this a few days ago and I love it already! The manual is easy to understand, there are instructions directly on the seat. The straps are easy to tighten, and get the placement correctly. I love how easy the install is. My son is so comfy and yells my seat every time he sees it and is excited to be in the car now! The rotation is very smooth and easy to use. It fits in my 2 for car easily. Love that I can use all 4 reclines for rear and forward facing!

My kids take turns in the “spinny” car seat!
I have toddlers close in age, we just got the joie chilli spin and have an older chicco for the other car seat. My kids fight over whose turn it is in the “spinny” car seat. They say it’s cozier. The turning feature is neat, we have sliding doors on our big minivan, so I could see it being especially even more helpful for people who have a regular 4 door car/suv. It was pretty easy to install and easy to turn as well!

LOVE this Rotating Car Seat!!
From box to car it was a breeze to install and have it ready for use! I love that it’s sleek design compared to other rotating car seats on the market and the other brand I already owned with my first child. Yet it’s still so roomy and comfortable for the child. The smaller profile also allows for a better fit in our mid size SUV giving us more room as passenger and driver up front.

My FAVORITE thing about this car seat would be how EASILY it rotates. It’s so smooth and quick. The location of the handle to make it rotate is perfect for everyone using the seat including the grandparents who have had trouble with our other brand we’ve owned.

I also love that the cup holders are wide enough to hold Yeti & Contigo sippy cups. But sleek enough they aren’t sticking out from the seat too much.

After weeks of using this seat the ONLY issue I have with it is…I wish I could remove the cup holders. My kids like to put their snacks in them then carry the cup holder into the house to finish. And I like to remove them to wash them. But it’s such a minor thing so it doesn’t bother us at all. Just something I would suggest changing in the future.

Love the convenience!
We recently upgraded to the Chili Spin 360 and it has made getting our toddler into the car so much easier. I am currently 8 months pregnant so it has been tough for me to lean into our car to get our 2 year old into her seat and buckled. Being able to spin her seat towards me makes it way easier to get her in and she even climbs in herself sometimes. The buckles were easy to adjust and connect. Our toddler also likes to help with that process but we double check them! We really liked all the padding that the seat comes with. We don’t need all of it for our toddler but it will be perfect for our infant when he arrives. The part of the base that goes up along the back of the seat does take a little bit of the foot space away from our toddler but it makes the seat feel way more secure so it is worth the few inches less of leg room. This seat was easy to install. It had different options for how to connect to your vehicle seat and we liked the clear instructions on how the seat should be set up for your child’s specific weight. We feel more confident in our child’s safety when using this car seat and we definitely recommend it to any of our friends.

Easy to install and use
I installed the car seat using the seatbelt method. It was super easy to follow where the belt path goes using the color coded hooks and then the secure latch. I love the convenience of the swivel/spin feature of the car seat. Especially since we installed it in our sedan, we don't have to put our whole body in the car just to strap our son in. Its easy to us the latch and to see that the seat is in the right spot and locked by the green button. The cup holders are nice, in an easy reachable spot for our son to use and are big enough to hold a variety of shaped cups. Also the one handed strap adjustment makes it easy for us to adjust the straps to where our son needs them on his shoulders without having to take it apart to adjust. Overall, we love the comfort of the car seat and the ease of use. We look forward to using it for years to come as our son gets older.

Great product! 4.5 rating!
It's a 4.5 rating, but it wouldn't let me give the 1/2 star! I received this product about 2 weeks ago and have really enjoyed it since then. The things I like best about it is that it is a safe, quality seat, it makes putting your child in the seat very simple and the installation was quick and easy. Once it was installed it seemed more secure and had less movement than other car seats we have used. There is a storage compartment that keeps the LATCH belt if you're not using it which is great so you don't lose it. The car seat itself is well made, nice quality and looks good. It is designed so the cup holders are in line with everything else, so they don't get caught when turning your child and are large enough to fit most cups/bottles.
There are just a few small things I didn't love about the car seat. One, the neck cushions are very stiff and my daughter did complain that they hit her neck a bit and bothered her. Another thing is the lower buckle cover (between the legs) comes off easily and something to keep it in place would be nice so you don't lose it. Lastly, the placement of the seat belt latch is close to where the kid's feet are if they are sitting backwards and a cover over it for an extra layer of protection would be nice.
Overall it's a great car seat and I'm excited to continue to use it! Thank you!

Very Nice Car seat
I was given this car seat in return for my review. I honestly really like this car seat. The swivel is a really nice feature. It is sturdy, easy to install, easy to adjust to fit my child and seems very comfortable. The fabric is soft and easily wipeable for all of those car snack messes. I drive a Nissan Rogue and the car seat does fit even rear facing with just enough room for me to fit in the seat in front of it. I’m 5’9”. My husband, who is 6’2” does not fit, however this is the same for most other car seats we have tried. My only negative about this car seat is that it can only be rear facing up to 40 lbs. Our other two car seats can be rear facing up to 50lbs and we are trying to keep my daughter rear facing for as long as possible. I would definitely recommend this car seat to anyone looking.
