The Secure Snap Tech 35 infant car seat has a lot of features parents look for in an infant car seat. For safety, it offers EPS energy-absorbing foam and patented side impact head protection. And for comfort, there’s a removable 4-piece insert and extra-large three-panel canopy for added sun protection. A one-hand seat release helps you remove the seat from the car without waking a sleeping baby.
The included car seat base has four recline positions and easily installs with LATCH connectors (a built-in belt lock-off allows you to install it without a base, too).
This car seat is compatible with Snap Gear & Snap Tech products, including the Snap-N-Go stroller to turn it into a simple yet sturdy travel system.

The straps are ridiculously difficult to loosen and tighten. Like, I am physically unable to do it sometimes. Also, the way the buckle goes together to click in is very difficult… a very interesting design choice by Babytrend, definitely not user friendly. I definitely wish I had gone a different direction car seat wise, but we are unfortunately stuck with our baby trend ones now.

Comfortable, Compatible, Trendy-Athletic, Great Price!
This is a cozy, stylish carseat, compatible with our other Babytrend base, which means it will also fit our jogging stroller - I'm SO excited about long walks this summer! The cushions are comfortable and supportive and easily removable. The hood is sturdy. The handle shape makes it easy to grab from various angles, and it snaps into place and releases easily. It's pretty light - though my baby is huge! The only thing that isn't perfectly ideal is that the tightening mechanism is super stiff, so you really have to put your arms to work. Everything else is positively ideal!

Unsafe
I bought this months before our little one was due, their was unable to return it. It is impossible to tighten correctly and flips over when trying to loosen. Customer service assured me that this was normal. Money wasted

Great seat poor service
We purchased this for our last baby. Upon using it my husband and I found it was extremely hard to pull the straps tight. After trying a few times we enlisted our car seat tech. She also found it abnormally hard to pull tight as well. When we tried to contact the company they would not respond to emails, phone called and online chat messages. Which is really sad because everything we have is baby tend. And we were hoping to keep it that way. And now we’re in a spot we may have to replace the seat so it’s safe to use and the baby can be tight in there without us reefing on the seat.

Good car seat!
I didn’t mind this car seat! I only used it for 6 months or so before I switched to a convertible seat, but this seat wasn’t bad at all. Adjusting straps were difficult but once I watched the YouTube video on how to do it, it was pretty simple. My only issue with it really was one of the side pieces that attached with velcro was constantly coming off, & there was always a rattling noise with the handle.

spacious but the wheel keeps going flat!
i thought it was just me having the issue with the wheel but after reading the reviews, seems its alot of people! i ended up having to buy another stroller when my daughter was about a month old. i bought her the Evenflo stroller that faces me but shes almost a year old now and outgrowing that one. this one is the perfect size for her right now, (she's a little on the long side) but cant do much with this wheel :(

DO NOT BUY- Worst car seat ever
This is the worst car seat ever. It is so difficult to loosen the straps- it’s like pulling teeth. It is not easily adjustable. The crotch buckle is like a puzzle you have to put together every time. I tried to get used to this seat, but the more I use it the more I hate it. Also, I tried to contact Baby Trend customer service by email and phone and that sucks too. Pass on Baby Trend car seats please! The jogger stroller on the other hand, I love!
