Overview
Description
Smaller newborns and infants need extra support in their car seats and strollers to be snug safe, and secure. This insert provides cushion that will help the harness straps fit properly, and, unlike others on the market, it is crash tested and approved for use in Britax car seats.
It’s designed with reversible fabric: one side has cozy fleece side for colder months, and the other is made with EZ-Dry, a moisture-wicking fabric for warmer weather. The contoured head support is detachable, giving you more flexibility for how you use the pillow as your baby grows or with different seats. The body pillow is easy to install by simply feeding the harness straps through the cutouts.

It's perfect for tinier babies and to prevent their heads from getting jostled back and forth in the carseat.

We only used it for a short time as our baby grew out of it quickly. It was also very hot for him.

Unless you have a premie, this is not necessary. Britax car seats have more than enough padding. My baby was 6 pounds 14 ounces when leaving the hospital, and I felt she didn't need this.
