Overview

Description

This Stokke bundle pairs up favorites typically sold separately: the Tripp Trapp Chair, Baby Set², Cushion and Tray.

The Tray turns your Tripp Trapp Chair into a standalone high chair, while the Cushion adds softness, style and comfort.

The Stokke Tripp Trapp High Chair made its debut in 1972 and has been going strong ever since (Stokke calls it a “chair for life” for a reason). Devotees love the iconic Scandinavian design that’s highly functional and looks great with your grown-up decor.

This versatile chair brings your baby right up to the table to join the family meal. The adjustable design has both depth-and height-adjustable seat and footplates for ergonomic seating position at any age. The footplate effectively brings the floor up to your child, allowing for greater balance, comfort and freedom of movement.

Norwegian manufacturer Stokke makes the chairs from high-quality, solid European beech or oak wood with an attention to craftsmanship. The Tripp Trapp is a sturdy piece of furniture (it holds up to 300 lbs) that would be very hard for a child to tip, even for toddlers who are climbing in and out of the chair on their own.

The Baby Set provides support and stability starting around six months. When baby is learning to sit, the Baby Set gives little ones comfortable side and back support. It also provides freedom of movement and helps teach them the important skill of sitting. When they can confidently climb in and out of their chair on their own, you can remove the Baby Set. This latest version has an updated safe and intuitive harness buckle, two click-in points and a quick, one-click release button. You can completely remove the harness for easier cleaning (it’s machine wash safe) and attach it back in about 30 seconds.

Whitewash with Nordic Grey is a Babylist exclusive color, so you’ll only find it here.

Needs to be taken apart to adjust positions
The highchair is beautiful and seems very comfortable for baby. You have to completely take it apart to adjust it at all, which is absolutely ridiculous for a new expensive highchair. Also, nothing suction cups to the tray apparently nothing suction cups to any Stoke trays because they are not smooth

Worth it, long term use!
Bought as a gift after owning one for 4 years. My almost 5 year old is still using his! I love that with this chair my son sits a bit higher and closer to the table top than he would if he was sitting on our dining chairs. 100% recommend! We own a grey colored one to go with our dining table. We gifted the oak brown and it’s a beautiful color!!! You won’t regret this purchase.

Bad instructions! Great chair.
Great chair. Instructions are not good. For the tray it says pull up from center. Did that broke the plaster piece off that clips in. What the heck!

High chair
My baby turned 6 mos and shows readiness to eat solids. We really want her to eat together on the same table.I knew from the start i want a tripp trapp high chair. Its was easy to assemble. And my baby fits right in even if she is a bit tiny for her age. You have to check if you tighten it enough. if not the chair and foot rest wobbles easily

Didn’t want to splurge but so glad we invested!
I researched high chairs for months. I wanted a high chair where my son would sit ergonomically and have his feet planted on a wide platform while he was eating (many chairs have thin platforms). He’s been on purées since 4 months so he was so little when we started solids. I started with a Fisher Price chair that tied to a chair then I moved to a seat that hangs from a kitchen island (works great for on the go and in laws now), then I moved to the Upseat which worked great for the kitchen counter and sitting upright and not leaning side to side. Once he started to outgrow the Upseat, I knew it was time to make a decision on a highchair. My husband didn’t want to spend the money on the Stokke Tripp Trapp so I was debating on purchasing it and asking for forgiveness later lol or purchasing the Mockingbird highchair. I finally convinced him when Stokke ran their 20% off for the Holidays. WE are so happy with this high chair. During our son’s first meal in it he said, “I have to give it to you, this is an awesome chair.” He sits perfectly at a 90 degree angle, he doesn’t lean side to side, and he doesn’t slump! (which he did in other chairs except the Upseat). We are no longer frustrated with meal time and I’m not stuffing towels around him for him to sit properly :) I’m so happy that we invested in this chair! We got this chair when my son was 19 pounds and 27 inches and he fits great with room to grow.

Better than Lalo by a long shot
Bought the Lalo prior to this but hated how much space it took Up, the small tray, and how difficult it was to clean. This Tripp Trapp Is awesome. It looks better than a Lalo, Is much Easier on space being able to maneuver it around our table, and easier to clean. So happy I got this one instead.

Love-Hate Relationship with This High Chair
Love how this high chair grows with your baby, and it's adjustable for optimal positioning. However, the straps are hard to adjust and not functional. Overall I would purchase this again, especially if it were at a lower price point.
