Description
The Chair made its debut in 1972 and has been going strong ever since (Stokke calls it a “chair for life” for a reason). Devotees love the iconic Scandinavian design that’s highly functional and looks great with your grown-up decor.
This versatile chair brings your baby right up to the table to join the family meal. The adjustable design has both depth-and height-adjustable seat and footplates for ergonomic seating position at any age. The footplate effectively brings the floor up to your child, allowing for greater balance, comfort and freedom of movement.
Norwegian manufacturer Stokke makes the chairs from high-quality, solid European beech or oak wood with an attention to craftsmanship. The Tripp Trapp is a sturdy piece of furniture (it holds up to 300 lbs) that would be very hard for a child to tip, even for toddlers who are climbing in and out of the chair on their own.
This chair comes with a Baby Set to provide support and stability starting around six months. When baby is learning to sit, the Tripp Trapp Baby Set gives little ones comfortable side and back support. It also provides freedom of movement and helps teach them the important skill of sitting. When they can confidently climb in and out of their chair on their own, you can remove the Baby Set. This latest version has an updated safe and intuitive harness buckle, two click-in points and a quick, one-click release button. You can completely remove the harness for easier cleaning (it’s machine wash safe) and attach it back in about 30 seconds.
To use the Tripp Trapp from birth, you can add a Newborn Set (sold separately). No tray is needed if you’re pulling this chair up to your dining table. A cozy cushion is also available.

Better baby posture
We bought this several weeks ago and love it so much! I am a nurse and really appreciate how good our babies posture is compared to other brands we tried, she always sunk down in them. It is extremely easy to clean and wipe off after each use. I love how big the bottom platform is because food that falls is caught on it instead of your floor. If you’re thinking about this, get it!

For toddlers who hate traditional high chairs
Highly recommended.Our toddler never liked traditional high chairs but with this chair we finally convinced our toddler to sit at the table.Easy to get on and off for a toddler as well.

A Must Have for Toddlers
We purchased this a month ago, and our toddler is in love with it. So much so that we wish we had just bought it sooner instead of purchasing multiple “things” for him to sit in (high chair, booster seat, etc). It’s firm, sturdy, easy to build. I had no problems adjusting the height. Unlike our booster seat, it’s super safe and feels like it would be super difficult to tip over. We love it.

If you are debating buying the Newborn Set - Do it!! It is so nice to be able to sit at the dining room table and eat a meal like civilized people haha. Baby sits at the table "with" us in her high chair and is happy as a clam. It's also been great for when I'm meal prepping/washing endless bottles. I like having her elevated off the ground, as opposed to on a bouncer on the floor or something when I'm walking around with my hands full. And, it keeps her off the ground so my drool-y dog leaves her alone haha. Highly recommend!

Great chair, will have forever.
I had to buy a second high chair because my grandson wouldn’t give up his chair for his new sister. I love this high chair because it grows with the child. It’s durable, functional, adjustable, stable, and just easy to accommodate toddlers as they grow. It’s visually much more pleasing on the eye than a traditional highchair.

Kids love it!
Love it so much, bought another one for my second child. He loves watching his older brother climb up to sit and has been trying to copy. Good thing the chair is very stable. Love that the chair will grow with him.

Great chair!
This chair is the best chair for our granddaughter. I love that it will grow with her and she can use it for a very long time. It is even easy and safe for grownups to sit on this chair.
