Built to grow through three stages, the Grow and Go All-in-One Convertible Car Seat can be used in three stages: rear-facing (5–40 lbs, 19”–40”), forward-facing (22–65 lbs, 29”–49”) and belt-positioning booster (40–100 lbs, 43”–52”).
As little ones grow, you can easily adjust the headrest and harness in one quick motion, without rethreading the harness or reinstalling the car seat. The crotch strap and harness have multiple adjustment options to fit growing kids. When your child is ready to use the vehicle seat belts, buckling is made easy with the visible belt path guiding the way.
It’s simple to clean, too. The seat pad snaps off easily without removing the harness and is machine washable and dryer safe. Dual cup holders are removable and dishwasher safe. Another nice-to-have: harness holders that keep harness straps out of the way, making it easier to get kids in and out of the car.
Built for child comfort, the Grow and G includes two removable grow-with-baby pillows for a snug fit. Recline angle indicators on the seat lets you find a safe angle position for rear-facing mode and multiple recline options means kids are comfortable for any ride, even in forward facing mode. When placed rear-facing, it gives up to 7” more legroom for parents in the front seat.

Q&A
This is a convertible car seat, so it doesn't have a separate base. (Infant car seats usually have a separate infant carrier that removes from the car and a stay-in-car base).
This isn't compatible with strollers. Since it's a convertible car seat, it's supposed to stay in your car after installation.
It isn't detachable. This convertible car seat has a built-in base.
Safety 1st actually does not recommend using aftermarket items, like buntings, since they have not been tested for safety or compatibility.
