Deluxe Grow and Go Flex 8-in-1 Travel System

I received this item as part of a Stellar testing panel. This is a really nice stroller, especially for the price. It has a lot of the same features as more expensive strollers—very lightweight, easy to maneuver, large pocket underneath to carry things. This is a great city or car stroller. We put our son in the car seat and then I keep the stroller frame folded in the back of our sedan and was able to easily get him in because it’s so lightweight. I am usually not very good at figuring out how to adjust car seats, but was able to do this one on my own on the first try. I also love that it comes with 2 cup holders and a tray for mom (there is also one for a toddler). No need to spend another $50 to get a cup holder like other brands. The only reason why I didn’t give it a 5 is that it is a little longer than other models, which makes it harder to carry up and down stairs when it’s set up as a stroller. We still make it work and appreciate that it’s light.

I absolutely love this grow and go stroller/car seat combo. It looks very sleek and so many great features. My favorite feature currently is the bassinet part of the stroller. I currently have a newborn so this is going to make walks a breeze. My old stroller didn’t recline enough to use for a newborn so this will be so handy.
With just a small adjustment the car seat just sits right in the stroller so that will be very handy as well.
I haven’t had a chance to use the stroller on loose gravel yet but on everything else it is very smooth. I imagine it will be fine on loose gravel because the wheels are a bit bigger than the average stroller so that usually makes a difference in how strollers handle on gravel. The brakes are very easy to access and seem really sturdy as well.
The car seat is really light and very easy to adjust. My husband who isn’t usually the one dealing with the car seats didn’t have much trouble figuring it out.
The whole stroller and car seat combo is really very easy to use and set up. I didn’t even need the instructions. Most every thing was very intuitive to set up and use.

As a mom to 6 kids I have a lot of experience with strollers but I was excited to receive the Safety 1st Deluxe Grow and Go Flex 8-in-1 Travel System from the Stellar Product Testing Panel because it is probably the most versatile travel system I’ve ever had.

My first impression of the stroller was that overall it was well-made and had a nice design. I like all the features like cup holders (child and adult), belly bar and large basket that are on the stroller. The stroller and car seat also had plush padding which was comfortable for my baby.

My favorite feature of the travel system is just how versatile it is. I love that it can be used with the car seat, bassinet or child seat facing forwards or backwards. I love the option of having a bassinet without having to buy a separate bassinet especially because the bassinet is usually used for such a short time. Similarly, I like that the child seat turns into the bassinet and vice versa so that when I’m using one I don’t have the other one lying around in my house creating clutter or in my car taking up space. I also like that the car seat can be used with or without the child seat on. The stroller was easy to push and it was also easy to adjust the straps. All the options makes the stroller very convenient and versatile.

The only negatives I found with the travel system were with the car seat. Although the car seat and base were very light compared to others I’ve used, the lightness gave me the impression that they may not be as solid or stable as others. Also the canopy on the car seat is hard to adjust because you have to move each side independently. It’s not smooth but rather clicks as you adjust it.

In summary this is a great travel system that will truly grow with a baby from birth until they no longer need a stroller. It really can be the only stroller that you will ever need. It is good quality for it’s price range. However, some of the plastic components mainly in the car seat make it clear that it is not high-end.

I received the Safety 1st Deluxe Grow and Go Flex 8-in-1 Travel System from the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I was immediately struck by the incredible value for the price point of this product! The materials used are high quality and both the stroller and car seat are incredibly lightweight yet sturdy. I used the stroller in the forward-facing stroller mode. Snapping my son into the stroller was a breeze - I couldn’t believe how easy the straps and buckles were to adjust and use. I really appreciated the simplicity of it. As for the car seat, I couldn’t believe how lightweight it was. Generally speaking, the lighter weight a car seat, the less comfortable it is for my kiddos. But with this car seat, my son didn’t have to sacrifice comfort for the convenience of a lightweight car seat. It was very simple to adjust the car seat to give my son the proper fit, and he seemed rather comfortable in it. But the standout for me was the stroller itself. The maneuverability of the stroller was very impressive for it being a more compact/travel stroller. The only reason I didn’t give this a full five stars is because it was difficult to push it over sand (which I realize is going to be an issue with almost any travel stroller - it’s not designed to be all terrain). This really should be a 4.75 star rating instead of 4. My son loved riding in the stroller for long walks and was always very relaxed in it. The removable snack tray with cup holder is very convenient, as are the cup holders in the handlebar. Folding and unfolding the stroller was also a snap. Everything about this system is very intuitive. It’s going to stay in the rotation in our household

The Safety 1st Deluxe Grow and Go Flex 8-in-1 Travel System is a solid choice for a lightweight travel system that will grow with your newborn. Featuring 8 strolling options, you can keep your little one safe and comfortable when you go out. The system has a stylish, modern look with a neutral pattern. The fabric is extremely soft and plush for optimal comfort. The car seat is extremely lightweight and it fits into both the car seat base and the stroller quickly and easily. The plush fabric is machine washable and dryer safe. Adjusting and changing the straps is a simple process. The clip on the 5-point harness is easy to open/close. Installation of the car seat base was a quick process, although I would have liked a physical level of some sort included to take the guesswork out of leveling.

The aluminum stroller system is extremely lightweight and durable. The front wheels maneuver easily on solid surfaces and the large brake is quick to engage/disengage. The parent tray has two cup holders which I like, although I wish the center compartment on the parent tray had a closing lid. The stroller has moderate storage, however, I find that access is limited in some configurations. The stroller is versatile and includes a removable seat that can be used independently with the stroller base or in combination with the car seat, which is my favorite feature of this system. The seat can be configured into a bassinet mode where it lies flat, or into a toddler mode as upright seating. The child tray is durable, but I find it is not the quickest to remove, which has been frustrating a couple of times. The stroller base has a true one-hand fold and stands upright on its own which is convenient when putting it in my SUV or if I decide to store it in our garage. If you are short on space, this would be a great system, because it folds compactly.

This travel system has a very sleek look to it. Very demure, very mindful, if you will. The versatility is the star of the show. The different configurations is what makes this a keeper, as it will literally grow with your baby. For our first kid we had an infant stroller, a baby stroller at a year, and then a third as she got older. This would have eliminated the need for the second two strollers.

An unexpected standout feature of this stroller was that it allow us to mount the car seat in rear and front facing configurations. My wife loved being able to place the baby in where she could keep an eye on the baby while out and about. A must for any cute baby.

The car seat is where my 3 star rating comes from. While aesthetically pleasing, once you touch or attempt to adjust the canopy on the seat it’s “plasticky”-ness really comes out. It is definitely light weight due to the materials used, but rather than a feel of innovation, if feels more “cheap” than anything else. Especially when it comes to the hard to adjust canopy and the jagged plastic seam on the carry handle of the car seat.

Overall I still feel like this would be a great entry level baby shower gift for a first time mom, or maybe a great backup stroller used specifically for travel (it is a travel system after all) but don’t really see it being anyone’s everyday stroller.

I received this travel stroller/car seat as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel in exchange for my honest review. Here are my thoughts:

Everything was packaged really nicely and assembly was relatively easy. It took me about 25 minutes to put it together (and this was with distractions as a mom of 2). The look and feel of this travel system really impressed me. It doesn’t feel extremely bulky with unnecessary stuff. The quality seems great, even down to the rubber grip in the cup holder! It also looks clean and sleek compared to bulkier strollers out there.

I didn’t test out the bassinet mode because my kids are too old for it. However, we have gotten great use from the forward facing option. My 4 year old and 1 year old both fit well! I do wish that there was a louder sound or “click” to confirm that the attachments are securely connected. Adjusting the stroller recline was not as smooth because the button on the back would get stuck. Once we were able to get it in the desired recline position, it was okay. Just a little tricky.

One huge difference I noticed that I wanted to point out is this stroller sits a couple of inches higher than other ones we’ve used. I’m talking about the handlebar, the seat attachment, and the snack tray specifically. My 18 month old had a little bit of trouble reaching for her snacks when sitting fully upright, so I needed to assist her. I’m sure she will grow into it as my 4 year old didn’t have any issues.

As previously mentioned, the snack tray has a grip in the cup holder. There was even room for the HANDLES on my baby’s sippy cup. This was such a good intentional decision by the designers! Our other stroller has a regular cup holder, so these sippy cups would never fit properly. Going over bumpy roads or quick turns would result in sippy cups falling out! Never in a million years did I think I would be raving about a cup holder, but as a parent, it’s truly the little things that make life smoother.

Overall, I do recommend this travel system and plan to use it often! Possibly even as our new every day stroller.

I was grateful to receive this Safety First 8-in-1 travel system through Stellar Product Testing Panel! From the moment we unboxed it, we were pleasantly surprised by the ease at which this system came together. It was an intuitive process seeing how everything fit nicely, and assembling was not intimidating to me. I very much liked its simplicity, as it offers all the features advertised but without any overly complicated instructions that would otherwise deter me from even using it - especially when trying to get the kids out the door by myself. I think that is my favorite aspect of this system. I also found the look to be sleek and easy to clean. The fabric does not absorb stains easily and seems as though it could easily be wiped down when necessary. The carseat add-on is nice. It makes this system a practical purchase with its longevity at which it can be used. The carseat is perfect for my baby girl, yet my 3 year old is able to still use the stroller, so it can be a really solid staple for a wide range of ages. I would recommend this system to a friend who needs a system that grows with their child or for a friend who has multiple children 3 and under, as its uses are practical and diverse.

If you’re looking for a high quality but affordable travel system for your precious baby I would highly recommend Safety 1st Deluxe Grow and Go Flex 8-in-1. I wish we had this travel system with our first baby too. Our first baby was small at birth and the Carseat we had was so uncomfortable for him but this Safety 1st carseat with its extra cushion is really comfortable and safe for our second baby who is small as well.
There are also many great features that the stroller has. Despite the fact that it can be used in 8 different modes it is really compact and doesn’t take a lot of room in our car’s trunk because the seat comes off and the frame takes less room when it is folded. The stroller rides quietly and smoothly and we could use it on different terrains whether we’re going for a walk, shopping, or traveling. Baby can easily take a safe nap during our different activities in the stroller with the seat becoming flat in the carriage mode.
Another feature that the stroller has is the large storage basket under the stroller which is great if you have more than one kiddo or want to have the diaper bag there.
Last but not least I love how light weight the frame and seat are for me to take out or put them in the car.

This is a great travel system because it’s lightweight and easy to maneuver. The current one I have is super heavy and bulky. This one is not fancy or high end looking, but that’s what makes it great if you’re on a budget and looking for something practical. I think my favorite feature would have to be that the seat pad is machine washable! We haven’t had to do that yet, but when my baby gets older I’m sure it will come in handy. I don’t have time to be spot treating nasty stroller seats lol!
Oh and it’s memory foam!!!This baby is spoiled haha! I also loved that there’s two cup holders so that I can carry my water and my toddler’s water. There’s even a separate snack and cup holder for when my baby gets bigger. The car seat canopy seems a little cheap because it clicks every inch that you pull it forward. So if it could be made so that it moves smoothly and quietly that would be a huge plus. Overall though, it’s a great travel system!
