This is a piece that grows with your baby, moving from crib to toddler bed, day bed and finally a “reading nook”—a new twist on the convertible crib that looks like a mini mid-century sofa.

The Novella is a visual standout with its unusual slat design and three-tone finish: a natural wood frame, painted slats and brass trim. The mix of materials gives the crib a warm and inviting feel.

Beyond its looks, the Novella is also durable; it’s crafted from solid ash with bridle joinery and brass plated steel legs, all strong enough to hold up to plenty of use and multiple kids.

Convert the crib to a toddler bed with a partial rail on one side (kit included), and then to a daybed with one side open. Later, you can use it as a child’s sofa (cushions sold separately).
