Kiskadee 360 Rotating Highchair
Overview
Description
As part of the Maxi-Cosi Kindred Collection, the Kiskadee 360° Rotating High Chair reflects a timeless design crafted with premium materials to complement home décor. It’s made with soft, luxe fabrics and tapered Ash wood legs with specially finished metals. The clear acrylic seat features beautiful, embedded caning. And the smooth surfaces and thoughtfully molded design leave no crevices for messes to hide in, making clean-ups easier.
The luxe seat pad and infant insert made of EcoCare fabric, premium 100%-recycled fabric made from plastic bottles––the yarn produced is soft, comfortable and breathable.
In high chair modes, with the seat in an upright position, innovative technology allows the seat to rotate 360° with the touch of a button, stopping at every 90° to hold your desired position. This means it’s easier than ever to feed and interact with little ones (from infant to 5 years old, or up to 50 lbs).
This versatile essential provides seven modes of use: High Chair with Infant Recline, Upright with Tray, Upright without Tray, Infant Booster Seat, Toddler Booster Seat (no tray), Child Stool and 2 Kids at Once (Child Stool + Booster Seat).

Customer reviews
The booster seat is very easy to attach to a chair. I love there is a compartment underneath to store the straps so they aren't dangling on the sides when not in use. If you have trouble connecting the chair to the base, just make sure the straps are inside the compartment and it is flush when closed. The chair should easily glide onto the base and click in. The booster can be used with or without a tray.
Lastly, the stool. I like the fact this highchair can grow with the kids and can be used in so many ways. The stool fits nicely under the table when used. I like I can have a stool and a booster seat at the same time when needed. It has been helpful with playdates with multiple kids at the house all different ages and needing more seats. My only negative is I wish the stool had one more lower step for kids to use. But if your child is anything like mine they climb up no problems anyways haha. Overall, I would 100% recommend this highchair to all my friends and family, we absolutely love the function of it!!
*I was given this high chair to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel.*
The chair did require assembly, but it was easy to put together by myself and did not require any extra tools (it only needed a hex key, which was included). Once assembled, it is lightweight and quite easy to move around as needed. The four legs provide a pretty wide base so that the chair remains stable, and because of the rotating feature, once we put the chair where we wanted it, we only had to rotate the seat to help with where our daughter was facing and to get her in and out, instead of moving the entire chair, which we appreciated. The straps were easy to adjust, and buckling her in was also very simple once we learned how the magnetic clasp worked (we hadn't used this particular style before). I also really liked that the chair is *very* easy to clean because of its design -- no hard to reach places!
The minor inconveniences?
- My family is CONSTANTLY tripping over the legs because they extend out into our space to keep the chair stable. I expect we'll get used to it the longer we have the chair and eventually the tripping will stop.
- The chair is not height adjustable and the tray is higher than table height (see photo), so if you're looking for a high chair where you can remove the tray and then just use the chair at your table, this is not the chair for you. It does convert to a booster seat that you can attach to your own dining chairs, but we have not used it in this form yet.
- The footrest is not reachable for a toddler sitting in the high chair. I think it might be the right height for when it's used in stool form, but again, we haven't used it like that yet.
- The clear plastic back makes it easy to see food that has fallen into the chair (but this is maybe also a good thing, so you know where to clean?).
We especially love how easy the high chair is to clean. The tray insert being dishwasher safe is a game changer for cleaning up. The seat pad can be easily brushed off and is simple to take off and put back together.
We definitely recommend this high chair for any home and especially for busy families who want to spend mealtime focused on being together and not worry about a complicated and stressful cleanup afterwards. Plus the design is upscale and doesn’t seem out of place in a well designed room.
We received this high chair as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. Thanks Stellar panel and Maxi-Cosi!
Visually, the high chair is quite attractive. We received the “Onyx Heritage” color, which fits perfectly into our neutral-toned home decor. The chair features wicker caning embedded inside the clear plastic back and bottom of the seat. This design makes for easy cleaning while maintaining its classic aesthetic. The legs are made of wood and come with built-in anti-scratch caps on the feet to protect the floor. While the base design is aesthetically pleasing, it's worth noting that the legs are tapered and extend out quite a bit, increasing the overall footprint of the chair.
The chair boasts seven modes of use. It is possible to remove the legs and rest the seat on top of a regular chair, though we only used it with the legs attached, both with and without the tray. Our daughter sat comfortably in the chair next to our dining table, and we found that the height was also suitable for our island counter, allowing for versatile use in both seating areas. Additionally, the seat can be reclined for lounging, though we didn’t use that feature often since the seat was primarily used at the table.
The 360-degree rotating design proved very convenient at mealtime, allowing us to easily turn her to face the person feeding her. Rotating the chair is as simple as pressing a button on the base. I do want to note that the chair locks in place at 90-degree intervals, so the rotation isn’t fully customizable. It would have been nice if the chair allowed for more flexible rotation.
Cleaning the high chair was very easy. The tray includes a dishwasher-safe insert, and the fabric on the seat is machine washable and simple to remove and reattach.
Overall, the Maxi Cosi Kiskadee is one of the best high chairs I’ve ever seen or used. With the exception of the space needed for the legs, I have nothing but positive things to say about our experience with this chair. I would happily recommend it to any of our friends or family who are in the market for a new high chair.
That's about all this high chair is good for, unfortunately. My daughter just turned one, and when I put her in the chair, she was visibly uncomfortable, especially when I pushed the tray into place. The design is such that the tray pushes against their crotch to hold them in place, and that seemed like a very odd design to me. She's a pretty chunky girl, so she had to spread her legs out pretty wide for the tray to fit into place.
Not only that, but the seat itself is in an egg shape, and she kept sliding down as she ate. There is no footrest, so she had nothing to prop herself up on. We tried taking off the padding to see if that would help her stay in place, but that didn't work either.
I will say, the magnetic straps are awesome. I do wish there was a place to put the straps when you're putting your kid in the chair so they don't fall behind them, but the magnetic idea is genius.
The 360° mechanism worked really smoothly, but I never actually used it. I didn't see a point or a reason why I would want to turn the highchair itself or a time that would come in handy.
I did like that the chair turned into a booster and a stool. Any baby item that can be useful in later years is a bonus for sure. All in all, this high chair has some great ideas, but the overall execution just isn't quite there. It's essential for a child to be able to sit upright while eating, and that just wasn't how this chair was designed.
About me- Currently stay at home mom, late 30s, one child, very type A.
Pros:
- Easy assembly. Most parts snap together. One tool is needed and it is included. I assembled in 20 minutes
- Color pallet is a pretty grey with light wood contrast. This high chair could definitely blend in with home decor and looks like a piece of furniture rather than your typical highchair
- The crevice-free clear plastic seat design made cleanup very easy. I did not have to spend time scrubbing nooks and crannies getting food out.
- I really enjoyed the magnetic harness. This was so easy to clip and unclip that I was able to do it with one hand. This was my favorite feature of the chair!
Cons:
- Very wide stance. Did not work for the corner wall space where we keep our high chair (see pics). I thought a workaround would be using the 360 degree rotation, but the rotation only rotates at 90 degree intervals. If you try any different position, the seat will not lock which is obviously a safety hazard
- The back of the seat has a slight lean (see pic). I had to keep adjusting my son’s butt to the back of the seat because he would slide and slouch. This was not comfortable for him
- Legs do not have wheels, making it difficult to reposition entire unit
- My biggest qualm with this high chair was the tray. The crotch bar is attached to the tray and is not part of the seat. This was really awkward landing it just right so I wasn’t squishing my kids legs. Tray also does not have cup holders
I would recommend Maxi-Cosi Kiskadee 360° Rotating High Chair to someone who is interested in more of a furniture piece rather than a practical, everyday/multiple times per day high chair.

The next feature I adore is the magnetic clips. The pieces snap together with little to no effort. I wish there were more baby items with similar buckles. The 360° rotation is so convenient. I have the chair facing away from the table so my child can climb in, I buckle him, and rotate him towards us to eat. The padding, and buckles all come off easily for deeper cleaning. There’s not many areas food can get trapped. Makes clean up a breeze. Lastly, this chair can function as two separate seats at the same time, and will continuously grow with your child. My only complaint is if you have a larger child, they do seem to fit a tad snug when with the padding and tray attached. But, it’s not a deal breaker. Lovely seat, 10/10 would recommend.
