With the HALO BassiNest, baby can be near you at night, but secure in their own defined space—it’s perfect for parents who want closeness but don’t feel comfortable co-sleeping. Use the 360 degree swivel to move the bassinet in next to you when you’re sleeping, then swivel it away so you can get out of bed more easily in the morning. The retractable, locking side wall lowers to make it convenient to tend to baby from bed (especially helpful for nighttime nursing or moms recovering from C-sections).
The Luxe Series model has a soothing center with an amber nightlight, amber floor light, two levels of vibration, soothing sounds with volume control and an auto shutoff. Two storage pockets keep necessities close at hand. Plus, it converts from bassinest to portable nest with the push of a button. It’s also designed with premium furniture-grade finishes and a machine washable luxe fabric that zips off for easy cleaning.
The improved 4-point base has a premium matte finish and low-profile design that reduces the risk of tripping or stubbed toes. It adjusts to fit most beds.
Unlike larger cribs that don’t come with a mattress, the bassinet includes a waterproof mattress (that contains no toxic flame retardants) and coordinating fitted sheet.

Yes, the mattress that comes with the Halo Bassinest Swivel Sleeper Luxe Series is designed to be breathable. It has a firm, flat sleep surface covered in a breathable polyester material to help with air circulation.
However, for even more airflow, Halo offers an optional breathable mattress pad (sold separately), which may provide extra peace of mind.
Yes, the Halo BassiNest Swivel Sleeper 3.0S is smaller than the Swivel Sleeper Luxe Series.
We're happy to accept returns within nine months of the purchase date. The item must be in the same condition received, unopened and in the original packaging. We don't accept returns on opened or used items.
You'd want to reach out to Halo directly so they can assist you with getting screw replacements for the sleeper.
The Luxe’s legs are very low to the ground so as long as you have 1” of clearance under the bed, you can fit the legs underneath and have the full swivel over the bed experience.
It means you need to place the bassinet at least 32 inches away from any wall.
The Halo Mattress Pad is 30 x 18 inches at the widest point and tapers to 16.5 inches or so in the center of the hourglass.
Its purpose is for the railing. Locking it keeps the railing in a steady upward position, while unlocking it releases the pressure, allowing you to lower the railing.

I do wish that the price was more affordable so that more new moms could easily access this product. I also wish that my baby girl fit in it for longer so that we could have had more use for it. Just a heads up, the base is very heavy making it very sturdy during use. I'm glad the company took this safety feature into account, but I would advise having some assistance in setup or relocation of this product if you are pregnant or recovering from birth.
