BassiNest Swivel Sleeper 3.0
Overview
Description
The parent-favorite BassiNest has been reimagined as a 2-in-1 system that easily converts from a bedside sleeper to a portable nest for around the house. This keeps you close to your little one during the day and nighttime, too.
It features all of HALO’s signature features: a swivel for the closest sleep, easy lowering wall and mesh walls for breathability and visibility. The BassiNest 3.0 also has a sleek silhouette with an updated base that’s over 30% lighter, but just as sturdy as the original.
The BassiNest comes with a polyester sheet and waterproof mattress (additional cotton sheets sold separately). It’s compatible with all BassiNest accessories, including the Newborn Insert. The sleep space becomes extra breathable when paired with the HALO DreamWeave pad for additional comfort and peace of mind (sold separately).
Warm Grey is a Babylist exclusive color, so you’ll only find it here.

Our baby HATED this thing. Would not sleep in it generally. The sides that are supposed to be easy to push down, not so much. Every time I wanted to transfer the baby over and push down, it took so much strength that I would inevitably rouse the baby from his sleep. If by a miracle I was able to make the transfer happen, the locking mechanism for the push down sides is so loud that he would wake up whenever I tried to lock the bassinet up. Also, the footprint, not that small. And it is not easy to remove from base to use as something you can take around the house. The videos make it looks super easy, but it's not small and for someone with a c-section, not easy / light at all to lift.
A lot of things need to be worked out in this design...
I was able to put my baby in it maybe 3 times total. We ended up just using a pack in play and he loved sleeping in that infinitely more.
Even more frustrating, this incredibly expensive item on my registry can't be returned. Halo won't help us. No one will. Now I have this stupid large item in my tiny apt. Hate it.
