Description
The Chicco KeyFit 35 has the same look and feel as the parent-favorite KeyFit 30, with the added benefit of accommodating baby’s growth up to 35 lbs and 32” (versus 30 lbs and 30” with the KeyFit 30). The additional headrest height, legroom and stability allow you to keep your little one in the safer rear-facing position for longer. For babies 4-11 lbs, there’s a removable ergonomic newborn head and body positioner.
The KeyFit 35 Infant Car Seat is simple to install and use correctly. Premium LATCH connectors on the base (which stays in the car) are easy to attach and remove from your vehicle, and the design allows you to get a secure fit closer to the vehicle seat with less effort. To ensure you’ve installed it correctly, the spring-loaded leveling foot works in tandem with RideRight bubble levels so you know it’s at the proper angle.
You can also use the car seat with a seat belt instead of the base—which is especially handy for ridesharing. The integrated European belt routing creates three points of contact for a secure install.
When using the KeyFit 35 with a compatible stroller, it’s designed for one-hand, click-in attachment for more seamless transitions between the car and stroller.
For extra stability, the KeyFit 35 has an integrated anti-rebound bar (to prevent extra movement in the event of a crash). It also features cozy cushioning encased in soft, knit fabric around baby’s head, plus a double-knit, full-coverage canopy with UPF 50+ sun protection.
