3-in-1 Steam Sterilizer

Stopped working after 3 months

I received this product through the Stellar Product Testing Panel and I was excited to try it out. When it came in, I procrastinated setting it up because of how large it was; I wasn’t sure it would fit on my counter. It was pretty simple to set up once I got around to it and easy to use but as I feared, it does have a large footprint on the counter. I don’t have a ton of storage space so I was hoping this would be something that could be left out but I don’t think that will be possible. It did work well to sanitize a lot of items at once so if you don’t have space constraints I would definitely recommend it. But if you don’t have a lot of room to store extra equipment, you may want to skip this one.

I vividly remember turning down a steam sterilizer from a friend while I was pregnant. Now, that my baby has been here a little while, I really dreaded having to boil all of the bottles and pump parts. My son had a rough start so, making sure everything he eats from or puts into his mouth is clean is very important. Despite rinsing immediately, sometimes our bottles have a left over milk smell that sterilization seems to take care of. I was really excited to be able to try out this Chicco steam sterilizer through the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The unboxing and set up was really simple. You can use it in full size mode, compact mode or microwave mode. After reviewing the instructions, I set it up to use in full size mode. Finished the pre-use cycle. Then put in my first load of bottles, nipples and rings and pushed the button to start the cycle. The little blue light came on and in about 5 minutes everything was nice and sanitized. After allowing it to cool, I started my second load of breast pump parts in compact mode. Such a time saver! I think the build quality of the sterilizer and included parts is great, it did not feel flimsy or cheap to me at all. In terms of size, it is a bit on the larger side but I do have the space and it's worth it to me because I use it often. However, this sterilizer doesn't dry the parts. They need to be manually dried or set out on a drying rack. For some reason, bottles can take a day to dry. I don't generally experience this after hand washing so it might have to do with the sterilization process. Just something to note. It gets very hot, which is a good thing but be aware. This is a really great choice for a steam sterilizer, it works quickly and I feel confident that my bottles and pump parts are clean.

The 3-in-1 Steam Sterilizer was so easy to assemble and use! I really like the modular system because it allows me to adjust the size to fit my needs—full-size can hold up to 6 bottles (plus nipples, cap rings, & lids), compact mode is great for smaller items like pacis, and microwave mode has the fastest cycle. The one complaint is that the modular system makes the product bulky so it takes storage space when not in use. Overall, this sterilizer is easy to use and gets the job done. The 3-in-1 sterilizer does exactly what you would expect it to. You can sterilize your bottles and/or pump parts on the counter in a large or small container or use it in the microwave. I have used the bags prior to this sterilizer and I was impressed. They felt cleaner. I personally like using it on the counter and the design is simple and not too much of an eye sore if left out.

Once I read the directions and did a pre clean cycle, it was as simple as pulling out of the cabinet and adding the water. I like that you can have two levels. I put the bottles and larger pump parts in the bottle and nipples and small items on top. Everything seems to sterilize well. The cycle does not take long. I think this sterilizer will encourage me to sterilize my babies items such as pacifiers more often. I am most likely going to use the full size sterilizer the most but it will be nice to have the small one that can be used in the microwave for the smaller items. I hope to leave the microwave section out to quickly sterilize pacifiers and pump parts during the week.

One issue I have with the sterilizer is once you run a cycle, it says to let cool down before using again, I would like to be able to run cycles back to back and do all my baby items quickly. You also have to factor in letting it fully dry before putting it away to prevent bacteria. Because it is quite large, I moist likely will use it and want to put it away to not take up so much counter space. Thankfully the design makes it easy to wipe down. Love how easy it is to set up and use this sterilizer! Everything with a baby can feel more complicated than it needs to be, but this gadget made sterilizing so easy and convenient. My favorite part was how easy it was to use it for specific needs whether we needed to sterilize just a pacifier multiple bottles. The bottles we use are short, but it looks like it could accommodate tall bottles with ease. Thank you Stellar Panel for sending us this sterilizer to test out!

I am loving the Chicco 3-in-1 Steam Sterilizer. Forget bringing out old pots to sterilize all the baby items. This sterilizer was easy to set up and use at the same time. It definitely cut my time in half compared to how I was sterilizing before this sterilizer. Let’s just say I’m able to set up and sterilize one-handed which is a plus because my baby wants to be carried all day.

One of my favorite things about this sterilizer is how versatile it is. Sometimes I need it for my breast pump, bottles, pacifiers, and Teethers, and other times I just need it for a teether toy and pacifiers. I have already told my expecting momma friends about this Chicco sterilizer.

I’ve also taken the microwavable part to my in-laws so they can use it when they watch my baby. My mother-in-law liked how it can just be popped in the microwave and sterilize things quickly. Lastly, what keeps this sterilizer from getting five starts is that the quality of the plastic is not incredibly sturdy, I received this sterilizer with a crack on the larger mode and I found it's getting bigger with time. I received the 3 in 1 steam sterilizer as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel for an honest review. There are many things I love about this product! First off, very easy to set up, secondly it is very easy to use. Both of which are very important to me as I don’t have a lot of time to spare! I also really like that I can fit so many items at one time so there’s less cycles I have to do to get all my stuff sterilized. It’s nice that it has a shelf inside so you can fit more things at once. The main downfalls of this product I find is that it is a large item to keep on my counter or store away between uses and it took just under 10 minutes to sterilize the first few items I used it on, which seemed like a long time to me. All in all I would say it’s a great product, can hold a lot and is easy to use just requires some counter space.

I received this product from Stellar product testing panel. We have a 2.5 month old and use the occasional bottle. We also use the baby nasal aspirator often and my husband uses glass mason jars for custom seasonings. We used the sterilizer for all 3 items and were very impressed! The sterilizer is easy to use and we love the variety in sizes depending on the items you need sterilized. It is slightly bulky to have out all the time but it’s on par with other sterilizers size wise! Overall, the versatility of the product makes this a highly recommended product for anyone in the market for a sterilizer!

Prior to receiving this sterilizer I would boil water on the stove to sterilize pacifiers, teethers, toys, bottles and pump parts. This sterilizer is so much easier! It is so easy to set up, it takes less than 5 minutes and it is just as easy to use.

I love that it is so versatile. It easily and quickly converts to whatever you need at that time. If you need to sterilize a few things you can do compact mode. If you have big bottles, full size mode. If you are in a hurry, microwave mode. I also love that it does not use chemicals to sterilize, just steam. After usage, you do have to leave it air dry. I didn’t mind this but this may be a drawback to some. Another bonus: It is so very easy to clean, you just wipe it all out and you are done.

I have had mine for a few weeks and I use the microwave feature the most. However, if I have a large amount of things to clean, I use the full size mode. So far, it seems very durable. We have used it almost daily since receiving it. It’s crazy to think just a month ago we were doing all this by boiling water!

I wish I would have had this sterilizer when my oldest child was a baby. This is way easier than boiling water on the stove and I feel way more confident knowing everything is clean. If I was in a rush I would use the dishwasher but I never really trusted that they were as clean that way. Now I have the convenience of a fast and easy way to sterilize everything I want and have the confidence knowing that it is clean. I also love the look of this sterilizer. It is a bit large to leave on the counter, but it is sleek enough you could. I hide mine away in the cabinet when not in use. Overall I have no complaints. I feel that the price point is spot on and will be purchasing more in the future for baby shower gifts!
