The milk doesn’t have to touch plastic!
I love that the milk touches glass, but if dropped the risk of the glass breaking is greatly reduced. We did switch the nipple with the Pigeon SS nipple as it promotes a better latches and aids with going from breast to bottle. We have had these bottles for 8 weeks and dropped the bottle once on our wood floor. It did not break. It also makes my mom feel more comfortable since she is prone to dropping things. I was devastated when they went out of stock. Despite having a boy I jumped on the opportunity to buy the pink set. We just need more than 3 duo bottles!

Only bottles my tongue tied girl will accept.
My daughter has a tongue tie And had issues finding a nipple that didn’t make latching difficult. We found the chicco bottles and tried them and have never gone back. We even gave our doctor browns and avent bottles to a friend who was having a baby. These are so easy to clean and I feel like no matter how long the formula stays in the bottle, it doesn’t curdle or get nasty! Our cat knocked one under the couch and it stayed there for 2 days before we found it, and it was still liquid and came right out with soap and water. I’m sure it has to do with the glass coating on the inside of the bottle, so that’s a game changer.

Pros and cons
I love that these have a glass liner and came with a variety of nipple flows. That being said I would have appreciated four of each nipple. Also, Inhad a really hard time with the nipple collapsing. My baby took in a lot of air. I adjusted the ring several times and still could not remedy the problem. I ended up having to buy a different bottle brand.

Great but design flaw needs to be addressed
I'm writing this review in the hopes they'll look into this issue! Some of the nipples shoot baby right in the face with milk. I see they are the ones with a slightly bigger hole at the top. I thought it may have just been my batch, but I ordered more bottles and some of them do this too. I love these bottles, but baby doesn't like her nostrils or face sprayed with milk.

Had higher hopes
I bought two sets of these for my newest addition to our family and we are a very loyal chicco family brand. I’ve used chicco for my first born who was born 2016 and I thought why wouldn’t go with it again, especially because we were looking to buy glasses bottles. But once we saw chicco made the duo plastic and glass we went ahead but two so that way baby girl could have a set of 4 bottle each. Well it was great until she hit 3-4 months and we noticed she was aggressively shaking (almost seizure like) while feeding and only when it was feeding time we so changed the 0-3 to 6M and 6M was to way to point baby was choking then we went back to 0-3 but it way to slow to where baby wasn’t getting rough milk. All in all I had throw them and go out and buy new ones. So highly disappointed except more and wanted to love them but they are a no. Wish I could get the money I paid for back.

Love inner glass layer
With having four babies, I’ve tried my fair share of bottles. This is the first bottle that I’ve come across that has pure glass on the inside. I love that my breastmilk is touching glass and not plastic. So cool! The bottle feels sturdy and my picky baby likes the nipple! Win-win for me!
