Chicco’s Bravo LE is a complete travel system that grows with your baby from infancy through toddlerhood. The set includes the KeyFit 30 Zip infant car seat and base as well as the Bravo stroller. Buying as a package ensures you have all the gear you need, and it’s all compatible.

Bravo Stroller

The Bravo stroller is distinguished from others by two special features: the removable seat and the fold. The stroller seat detaches easily from the frame in one piece, along with the canopy. During your baby’s first six months, you can take it off and use the Bravo as a lightweight infant car seat frame stroller—the KeyFit 30 Zip seat clicks securely into place. This means there’s no unnecessary bulk to lug around in those early months, and the seat stays brand-new until your baby is ready to use it. It’s also easy to reattach the Bravo seat so growing babies can switch between riding in the KeyFit and sitting up in the stroller. Once your baby outgrows the infant seat, you can use the Bravo as an everyday stroller.

The Bravo’s folding mechanism is also noteworthy. The seat cushion lifts to expose an integrated, one-hand fold handle. As you pull up, the fold is activated and the front wheels are automatically rotated inward to keep the stroller standing independently. Once the stroller is closed, the fold handle doubles as a carrying handle. The standing position makes it easier to maneuver for storage, though parents with smaller spaces and cars should note this isn’t the most compact stroller.

Other features of this stroller include multi-position seat recline (note: it does not go totally flat), a child tray with two cup holders and a large extendable canopy with a visor and window. The parent tray has two cup holders and a zippered pouch, and the large basket below is accessible from front or back when you use the stroller as a car seat frame.

The premium fabric of both stroller and car seat is a two-tone gray chevron jacquard with silver accents. An extra, machine-washable stroller seat cushion reverses to mesh or a cozy knit, providing additional padding for your little one. The Bravo handles well and maneuvers easily thanks to all-wheel suspension, height-adjustable handle bars and a linked brake system.

KeyFit 30 Zip Infant Car Seat and Base

The KeyFit 30 Zip car seat snaps easily and securely into place on the Bravo stroller or the car seat base. Zipper accents include a zip-off canopy, zip-on visor and zip-around boot (and now you know why it’s called the Zip). The seat pad is easy to remove for cleanup and machine washable. One-pull harness adjustment makes it easy to get your baby buckled in properly. For smaller babies (4-11 lbs.), an included infant insert provides extra support for comfort and safety.

The car seat base has a spring-loaded leveling foot and bubble level indicators on each side. Along with the one-pull LATCH tightener, these features make it easier to ensure proper installation (it also works in vehicles without LATCH). The underside is enclosed to protect upholstery from damage.
