Smart sensors know to continue running if there is any water left in the unit. If there is still water in the tray or your filter is damp, you will not be able to turn off the fan. The Humidifier will reactivate and run until all the water is used to ensure you’re getting the best possible performance. When all water is consumed from the tank, dry air flushes the system for any remnant water left inside the unit.

The product: The bedside humidifiers are supposed to do 500 ft.² per their description. Our bedroom is 144 ft.² and we have two of them running which should cover about 1000 ft.² and do not feel that the humidity is what it should be especially considering there are two of them going. But we do not want to turn them up more than the lower settings because they are so ridiculously loud. They are louder than the sound machine for our son. I don’t even use the sound machine because these are so loud. Knowing what I know now I would not have paid this much for essentially a sound machine.
The business: The other issue is when I placed the original order I was given a specific will ship by date. I waited about a week or five business days past that date set by canopy and nothing had arrived. I started to worry after reading other reviews about difficulty with customer service and getting answers. I reached out to customer service and did get a fairly prompt response that the humidifiers were shipped and on their way. I did the filter subscription with the original order so I didn’t have to constantly remember to order them. When it came time for the filter replacements to be shipped I received an email that I needed to update my billing information even though there was no issues when the original order was placed. I verified everything payment wise and then the order was placed. After 11 business days, I reached out to customer service because I had paid for the filters per my credit card statement, but had not received anything via email about them actually being shipped. I was told I would receive an email when they are shipped and shipping is 5 to 7 business days. Here we are 14 business days later and still nothing. I did not receive a reply when I enquired about when to expect them to ship but to be fair I did not wait the full 3 business days only 2 but I was getting frustrated. I canceled my subscription. I emailed about getting a refund and customer service did reply quickly about getting that expedited. I suppose we will see how actually getting the refund goes. The whole point of the subscription was to make things easier, especially considering I am a new mom with a demanding professional career. This is the last thing I need or want to be dealing with even if it is something is minuscule as receive filter replacements.
Overall disappointed in the product and very displeased with the company. Customer service did reply quickly for the most part and gave me useful information but I wish I didn’t need to contact them for literally everything.
