Description

The Baby Jogger City Mini GT2 Travel System pairs the City Mini GT2 Stroller with the City GO 2 Infant Car Seat. A travel system ensures your infant car seat and stroller work seamlessly together, and allows you to move a sleeping baby from your car to the stroller.

Baby Jogger City Mini GT2 Stroller

This stroller has a sleek design with upgraded fabrics in rich colors and a soft, textured feel. Forever-air rubber tires never go flat and all-wheel suspension provides a smooth ride on any terrain.

The signature one-hand compact fold (just lift a strap and the stroller folds itself), adjustable handlebar and hand-operated parking brake provide added convenience. Adjustable calf support and near-flat seat recline keep baby comfy on the go.

Baby Jogger City GO 2 Infant Car Seat

Designed for 4 to 30 lbs and up to 32”, the City GO 2 infant car seat provides a safe spot for baby to join in on family adventures from day one.

It securely installs in any car or taxi, even without a car seat base, thanks to the taxi-safe belt path. Or, use the RAPIDLOCK Base, which installs in seconds using belt-tensioning technology. The Anti-Rebound bar provides an extra layer of safety for baby.

It features a quiet canopy design that helps keep a sleeping baby asleep. The base can be installed using your vehicle belt or the integrated push button LATCH, and offers four recline positions to ensure a level install. TRUE Test Plus enhanced safety standards provide additional peace of mind.

beware don't lose any parts
customer service is terrible - we loved this system for our first , packed it away when our toddler no longer needs to be in a stroller - now we have our 2nd on the way and somehow misplaced the part that connects the car set to the stroller- which you need with an infant (we have the right side but can't find the left). the company will not sell you the part that connects the car seat to the stroller separately (but will for graco and other car seats?) so now our stoller/car seat system is completely useless to us until #2 can sit up on his own - super frustrating

Feels high quality, but features are lacking.
Love the car seat and dock for this travel system—5 stars there. The stroller, however, leaves something to be desired. It is made with high quality materials and mechanically very sound, but design choices were made that don't make a ton of sense to me.
Issue #1: The 5-point harness is a pain to buckle. You get acclimated over years of use but it only goes together 1 way and heaven help you if your kid is squirming.

Issue #2: The underseat basket space is almost laughable. Zero chance any diaper bag will fit in there. A blanket and a hat are pretty much all we use it for.

Issue #3: The seat back adjustment is a friction clip thing that is impossible to adjust with 1 hand or when the kid is in the seat.

Issue #4: The parent tray is a separate accessory you need to purchase extra, and the child snack tray USED to be a separate accessory, but now it's just complete discontinued. Even though they still sell this stroller. Make it make sense.

Awful.
We purchased the City Mini System in December of last year. 3 months later, the canopy support snaps in half. This lets water in every time it rains ( which is often in our city). I can’t count how many times I’ve written or called Baby Jogger Customer Service to receive zero reply. Nobody answered the phone and I received one email response asking for information I had already submitted EIGHT times via their online form. We are not rich people with money to burn. This was a purchase we had to save up for ourselves. For $600+, it should work flawlessly. Or at least-be able to make it right when something goes wrong. I get that we may have been unlucky and bought a dud but they refuse to fix the issue.

Stroller is great - car seat is terrible!
We love the stroller itself but unfortunately the infant car seat is just terrible. Our big guy has hated it from day one since he felt so squished and hot in it. He is often sweating after just 20 min car rides with the AC on, hates being in it for long periods of time since it squishes his shoulders even on the right height settings… just overall a bad design. We swapped to a different brand car seat and he now has zero issues and would nap for hours!

Spent hours searching, love this one
We spent HOURS searching for a stroller (literally more time than our car). We really like this stroller because it handles rocks well, and provided a smooth ride. Overall it’s easy to open and close and our babe loves the car seat.

Great experience so far!
Our travel system stroller arrived quickly and was so easy to put together. 1 box contained the stroller which only needed to have wheels and shade canopy attached, very easy to do, and 1 box contained the infant seat/base which I think was fully assembled in the box (can’t remember completely). We’re so excited to get to use this with our first baby!

Love it!
I have been using the stroller and car seat for almost 7 months. The stroller is absolutely amazing. I love that I don't have to worry about puncturing a wheel, and can still take it on trails. It's also compact enough that I can take it into a store and not take up too much space. I would definitely recommend this stroller. I've read complaints about the basket size but that hasn't been an issue for me. I use a tote bag for a diaper bag, and can fit quite a lot of stuff in the basket (yesterday I had the tote bag, stroller rain cover, bag of groceries, my rain jacket, water bottle, and small purse!). The one thing I wish were different is that even when the seat is in the most-upright position, there is still a bit of recline to it. Sometimes my baby is leaning forward trying to sit up straighter to get a better view. This seems like an easy fix from the company for future models. I might just use a string and McGiver it to be tighter / more upright.

I read a lot of bad reviews on the car seat. I don't have any complaints. I love that I don't have to rethread the straps when my baby grows, just slide the head rest up (I can't imagine having to retread everytime!). My baby is 17lbs and 27" long at almost 7 months old. His head is in the 91st percentile! So I'm surprised we haven't had any issues with the fit, given how many reviews state their babies don't fit at a smaller size. I don't think it will last until 12 months, but I think we can get another month or two out of at least. If I were looking to purchase again I would probably skip the travel system though and just start with a convertible car seat. It is nice to bring the seat to and from the car but it's for such a short period of time (I stopped doing that around 5 months when my baby was heavier) and I haven't connected the car seat to the stroller even one time. Everyone told me an infant car seat was essential but I don't think it really was considering we have to buy a second car seat soon anyways. Just something to consider while you are shopping! :)

Great buy!
I don’t understand the negative reviews. My baby is 8 months and she still loves the car seat and stroller (she’s still under 30lbs). The convenience of having the car seat to the stroller is amazing, specially when they’re newborns. If the baby is asleep, she stays asleep!
