Overview

Description

This glider board is a great way to let your older child hitch a ride during strolling adventures. It attaches to the rear axle of your stroller (select Baby Jogger models) and has a non-slip surface for safety. When not in use, it flips out of the way and folds easily even when attached to the stroller.

What we love about it

Works ok but a big desgin flaw
First time I tried to remove it from the stroller, the plastic ratchet straps that go around the shaft broke immediately. I broke the first one, then I was super careful with the second one, and it snapped right away. That's a pretty bad design. A rubber strap would be more sturdy. The elastic strap that hold the glider on the stroller don't look very sturdy also. Obviously they're still in pretty good shape since the glider is practically new, but in the long term I think they would just stretch and loosen. A rubber strap would have been a good idea there too.

Terrible Design and Testing
I received this as a gift as we believed it would help us navigate the Children's Hospital with our baby and toddler more easily. Unfortunately the design of this product tips the stroller portion backwards and makes the entire stroller unstable and unsafe. We are very disappointed in this product as is our toddler who was looking forward to riding along with sister.

Best purchase
I needed a stroller for 3 and saw that the glider board was an option. I was hesitant about how it would fit and if my 2 1/2 year old would even like to stand on it. He loves it! I’m so happy I purchased it. Has made life so much easier.

Not great
Purchased this product new from this site. Wheels rattle horribly like they are having constant seizures as the stroller is being pushed. It makes it unbearable to use. One of the wheels has fallen off on several occasions.

Kid interferes with the handlebar
It's not well designed. The kid would have to be very short so that they don't interfere with the handlebar. My 3yo is a 7%er in height and she doesn't fit. And of course, it means you can't have anything hanging down off the handlebar, like cup holders.

Makes stroller hard to use
I have had a City Mini 2 for a few years, and I really love it. When our second child was on the way it made sense to buy the glider board. However, the glider board makes the stroller almost impossible to use. You need to stand ridiculously far from the handle and take tiny little steps in order to avoid kicking the board. There's no way this was product tested with the City Mini 2. I can't speak for the other models it's "compatible" with, but don't bother if you have the City Mini 2. We used it twice, read the instructions, adjusted it, etc. We won't be using it again.

Horrible design
They clearly never actually tested this product out. There is nowhere for a kid to stand - their face is in the back of the stroller or in the handle bar. I had the board fully extended, and my kid stuck his head between the seat back and the handle bar bc nowhere else for his head to go, and even still he was arching his back and holding on for dear life. It throws off the balance of the stroller so it wants to tip over backwards (toward the handle bar), which is so incredibly unsafe. Absolutely unusable, useless. Really disappointing.

Our toddler loves this glider! It’s especially helpful when he doesn’t want to sit in the stroller but he’s walking too slow. The only thing is that it’s sometimes difficult to walk while pushing the stroller with the glider attached.

Does it’s job
Stays tucked to the stroller when not in use and doesn’t extend out to hit feet with it down
