This is a perfect addition for ways to entertain or soothe your baby. It's stylish and super easy to assemble. I've even moved it around a good bit with ease, it's nice and light and simple enough to bring to other areas of the house. The safety belt is perfect, easy close and open, with no hassle. There are a multitude of motions and sways to soothe your baby with, and the App (free) offers even more features than the preset ones. As you set it up, it has you mimic your natural sway so that the swing can be a familiar comfort for the baby. You can adjust the speed of each motion, and great control over the music. Changing motions is easy to do with your phone or hands free with toes, it's located near the floor. It would be pesky to do by hand though. Although its called a swing, it doesnt actually swing. Its more of sways and bounces, gentle enough ones. I personally get motion sick easily and even watching it on higher speeds makes me feel nauteous, but adventourus babies may really like the high speed settings. No worries, its speed adjustments have a great range from really slow to pretty speedy. Eventhough the swing offers a lot and has great value/quality, my baby is endlessly dissapointed by the "mobile'. It's mostly there for decor and although it will twirl if you spin it everyone walking past it, it doesn't otherwise move. She shows an obvious frustration about it not moving and it does seem pointless, and I'd imagine would be a feature many others may wish it had. Washing the seat will be super easy, there's a sturdy easy zip and unzip on the cover as shown in the photo.

The MamaRoo Baby Swing doesn't come with a newborn insert since it is not required for use. You may choose to purchase one separately because it does provide extra support for the baby.

Is there a difference from this model to the 4moms mamaRoo 4 Baby Swing, Bluetooth Baby Rocker with 5 Unique Motions, Cool Mesh Fabric, Dark Grey from 2021?
They are the same basic swing. But the newer model can be used up to 9 months, has a 5-point harness, voice command, clearer pre-built sounds, and a deeper seat.
Can the arm with the mobile be removed?
You can totally remove the toy bar.
Is there a weight minimum ?
This product is designed for newborns of all sizes, including those born prematurely or with a lower birth weight. It safely accommodates them up to 25 lbs (around 9 months) or until they show signs of wanting to climb out.
Can the WiFi and Bluetooth be disabled?
Sure! The WiFi and bluetooth features can be disabled.
Has this been recalled?
This is the newest and updated version of the MamaRoo and it has not been recalled. The newest version is updated to fix the issue the recall (of the older models) was originally issued for.
Do you need the newborn insert or is it a nice to have?
The newborn insert is not required for use. The MamaRoo can be used from birth without the insert. The insert, though optional, can add a fun pop of color and design!
Can you control this without a phone/wifi/bluetooth?
Yes, there is a panel on the front of the base that allows you to control the swing by touch.

Mama MUST HAVE!
The MamaRoo swing has been my babies #1 favorite place to be besides on top of mama which makes it my most recommended product to fellow parents! My little one has been very difficult to soothe or be put down and this product has single handedly given me so much more peace knowing she is comfortable & safe while I have my arms free for the moment. I love the fabric it’s soft and cozy but also easy to spot clean and wash with the zip off feature. It took me only 5 mins to put together on my own and simple set up is a huge bonus when you are taking care of littles! I really enjoyed the Bluetooth feature and found it helpful when trying to help baby resettle. The movement options were great for us and my baby loved the kangaroo bounce. I like having the option to customize it to your own movements with the Find Your Roo feature that is super clever and worked perfectly for us. I would consider the price point to be a bit on the higher end but I feel with all the features and compared to other swing options on the market it is justified. My only complaint is I wish the mobile had a movement feature as it just sits there unless you spin it yourself. Overall, we LOVE this product! I love the way it looks in my living room it is modern & sleek with a simple design all while being compact and not taking up much room in our living space. Thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for sending us this amazing product we truly love it and highly recommend adding it to your baby registry!

4moms MamaRoo - Lifesaver
I received the 4moms MamaRoo as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. This swing has been an absolute lifesaver for me with my twins. The customizable settings allow me to alternate between swing modes fast to settle my boys when busy with their twin. The parent like motions also soothe them instantly, as if they were in my own arms.
I love the size of this swing. Small enough to fit in tight spaces when we don't have much room, yet big enough to comfortably fit my growing babies. The removable cover made life easier with quick cleanups. No more stain scrubbing by hand every day. Quick, easy convenient cleanup that all parents love.

Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this infant swing. When I received the swing, my son was 5 months old. Overall, I LOVE this swing. Here some of the pros and cons.
Pros:
-Very easy to assemble
-Very easy to remove and wash the cover
-Customizable!! I LOVE the feature in the app to determine what swing style and speed works best, based on how you comfort your baby. My husband and I both used the feature and found that Tree Swing worked best for me, but his style was more similar to the car ride style. We also had different speeds.
-Very aesthetically appealing and has a nice modern, but simple look to match most homes.
Cons:
-You cannot use Bluetooth to control the swing AND the music, at the same time. If you want to use the music feature, you CANNOT control the swing from your phone.
-Has a non-motorized, simple "mobile" that does not seem to grab the attention of babies due to the lack of movement. The price point of this swing should demand the mobile to have some sort of functionality to it.

Great For Sleepless Nights
While this product is not on the list of safe sleep unattended, it is great for sleepless nights where you are going watching your little one. Assembly of the swing was super simple; first time moms and pros at parenting can both assemble. I like that the buttons to turn on and control movements and sounds are at the base so that way wiggly hands cannot reach them. The gentle glide side to side is the favorite of my little. You can choose from multiple options though including a little wiggle and bouncy one. That one keeps her awake but entertained. The harness is nice and snug when used and should always be in use.
The only thing I don't care for is the Bluetooth app. Thankfully everything can be used without the app because it doesn't really work. I'm simply not a fan. I still think it's worth it without the Bluetooth though.

A Game Changer for Busy Parents – The MamaRoo is Worth It!
Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this infant swing. We were so excited to get our hands on the 4moms MamaRoo, and it did not disappoint! From the moment we set it up, it became an essential part of our daily routine with our little one. The variety of motions and speeds is a total win. The five unique motions mimic the natural bounce and sway parents use to soothe their babies, and being able to mix and match the speeds and sounds means we can adjust it depending on our baby's mood. Sometimes they just need a gentle sway; other times, a little more movement keeps them calm and entertained. The Find Your Roo feature in the app was actually really cool—we didn’t expect to use it as much as we did. It helped us figure out which motion/speed combo worked best (it turns out, our baby loves the "Car Ride" motion at medium speed). We also really appreciate how easy it is to customize everything. Whether it’s controlling the swing from the app, using Alexa voice commands, or streaming some soft lullabies over Bluetooth—it all makes life so much easier when you’ve got your hands full. The adjustable recline has been great as our baby grows and wants to sit up a little more. The seat fabric is super soft and zips off easily for cleaning (we’ve already had to wash it twice—parent life!). It’s sleek and modern, and it doesn’t scream "baby gear" in the middle of the living room. It looks good and blends right in. Aesthetic baby swing
Thank you Stellar Review Panel for sending me the 4 Moms MamaRoo baby swing. I love having this swing in my living room. It is not an eye sore and fits in with the aesthetic of our home. It is also not too large and takes up minimal space.
The swings material, base and seat are easy to clean. When my baby spits up I can easily wash the lining. I previously owned a mamaroo swing and I love the updated straps and bottom. They are easy to use and the padding prevents you from pinching your baby. The swing is easy to have by the window so my baby can get some light to prevent jaundice. I have my seat fully reclined right now since my baby is a newborn but like that I will be able to readjust.
The only things I would change are the detachable balls on top. I like that they can be switched but it would be nice to have a string or something to keep them attached. My toddler and dogs make it hard to keep track of them. Although I am able to have my baby relax in the seat, I wish instead of all songs there was a white noise sound added as well. My old one had a white noise and it was easier to settle babies in it.
Overall, this is a great swing for newborns. I am able to quickly put my newborn in a safe spot and he is happy!

Mamaroo Extra Set of Mama’s Arms
The 4Moms MamaRoo swing has been a genuine sanity-saver for me and my 3-month-old. As a tired mom with an infant and a toddler, this swing allowed me to safely put my infant down to either take a moment for me to shower or to give my toddler some one on one time. My 3-month-old loves the swing and it’s different movement settings that closely mirror the bouncing or rocking that I do. It was so simple to switch settings and find the movements she preferred. I personally love the snap and zip-off seat cover that makes for easy washing; a must for my daughter with significant reflux! I was pleasantly surprised by the different sounds/songs programmed into the swing, including white noise! My daughter also loves the little mobile and spends her time staring up at it. We’re currently on the black and white side of the mobile balls but will be switching to the color side soon! The only feature I would change about this swing is that the mobile does not move on its own. It only moves if you spin it manually, which is hard to do when you’re using this swing to get a moment to yourself to hop in the shower. Otherwise this swing is truly a life saver and sanity saver for moms in the newborn and infant stage! Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this infant swing.
