Overview

Description

Sleep bags fit around your baby as an alternative to a blanket, creating a snug enclosure that still has room for arms and legs to move freely. And with a bag, there’s no chance that a blanket can cover your baby’s face.

Parents love this one for a few reasons—a big reason is that it keeps baby at the just-right temperature in all seasons thanks to the extra breathable Merino wool lining. High-quality merino wool naturally regulates temperature to help keep little bodies warm when it’s cool and cool when it’s warm. The outer layer is made with soft GOTS certified organic cotton.

The sleep bag is ideal for room temperatures 63-77 degrees. For a helpful bonus, it comes with a nursery thermometer and dressing guide so you know what to put baby in under the sleeping bag (i.e. layers; something sleeveless, etc.).

The Ultimate features double shoulder snaps and a two-way side zipper, so it opens up completely flat for easy dressing without waking baby. For easy nighttime diaper changes, you can open the bottom zipper only. Zipper-pull guards to protect baby’s skin.

The Ultimate Sleep Bag has universal sizing, so one bag can work from two months to two years. Parents love this.

For peace of mind, this sleep bag meets child safety requirements and all the fabrics and accessories are OEKO-Tex 100 certified (tested for 100 harmful substances). It’s also machine washable, but merino wool by nature is self-cleaning and doesn’t need to be washed as often as other fabrics.

What we love about it

This silky-soft and hypoallergenic merino wool inner layer keeps baby comfy in all seasons. Also, one size works from two months to two years.

What TOG is this?

The Woolino 4 Season Ultimate Baby Sleep Bag is rated at 1.0 tog, making it a breathable option designed for year‐round use.

What's the maximum height (length) for this sleep sack?

This universal sleep sack is intended for little ones that are between 23 to 35 inches in length, and 10 to 32 pounds.

The Woolino sleeping blanket says in the description that it is for between two months and 2 years and I have a brand new grandbaby that's about six and a half pounds and it's very cold will it fit him now?

This sleep bag is designed to be used from 10-32lbs. It would be too large for a baby that is 6.5lbs. You will want to wait until the baby fits within the suggested weight limit to use it.

This thing rocks.
This has been our number one sleep sack for two years. The car seat buckle thingy has been clutch for traveling at night. I've still used a thicker bamboo insulated one for deepest darkest winter but this has been our rock.

Good material but not worth the money
I ordered this for my daughter thinking it would help regulate her temperature at night and because of the material quality. She has been waking up and flipping back and forth since I switched to Woolino sleep bag VS with the Halo sleep bag she would sleep 8 hours (I switched back to this bag and she sleeps better). Also the placement of the zipper on the side digs into my daughter’s ribs, it would be better if the zipped to the bottom not the side, however I do like the double bottom closer over the shoulders. Wish I could return this, not happy with purchase.

wonderful sleep sack
I love this sleep sack. It is very high quality and my baby sleeps SO well in it. I myself sleep under a wool comforter year round (except the hottest of summer nights) so I know that wool really does regulate temps! I prefer it much more than the Kyte baby which is soft bamboo on the outside but filled with polyester, plus you have to buy different sizes and TOG ratings. I thought that this one size sack would be too big for my petite 5 month old but it's totally fine. very long but not a problem at all. I'm going to buy another one to have in rotation! they do take a while to dry after washing and they need to be very dry or else they smell a bit wooly :-)

This is great for our guy who doesn’t enjoy swaddles! We had planned to use this down the line but ended up pulling it out at 4 weeks old — love that it’ll be warm but not unusable in the summer!
