Overview

Description

This set includes five glass bottles and two bottle sleeves. Philips Avent bottles are made from pharmaceutical-grade borosilicate glass that’s heat and thermal-shock resistant. You can store them in the fridge, warm them up and sterilize without worry of breakage.

Wide and soft, the Natural Response nipples let baby control the flow of milk, similar to when breastfeeding. This makes it easier to switch back and forth between breast and bottle feeding. They’re also a no-drip design to prevent lost milk and the Anti-colic valve reduces discomfort and colic.

The insulating silicone sleeve helps protect the bottle while making it easier to grip.

This has three 4 oz bottles with Natural Response nipples Flow 2, which is for 0m+ and two 8 oz bottles with Natural Response nipples Flow 3, which is for 1m+. You may want to increase the flow with age, depending on your child.

There were no updates made to the nipple or cap design of the Philips Avent Glass Natural Bottle set since 2023. The bottle still uses the Natural Response Teat, which flows only when the baby actively drinks, and includes the Air-Free vent to help reduce gas and colic.

So far love these bottles. Used the Dr browns in the past and they leaked SO BAD! The Philips have been great so far!!

Good set
The glass bottles are great for mixing formula, but we struggled with using the nipples for the 0m and had to size up.

Obsessed with these! I was skeptical about the glass but with the silicone cover you can knock them on the floor and they’re fine. I love knowing there’s not bacteria growing in the fibers of the plastic like the other bottles.

Great lead free bottles
Pump into these directly with a Spectra pump and bought Maymom screw caps on Amazon that let me attach Pigeon nipples, so now these are the perfect setup for our combo fed baby.

Could not recommend these enough!
Was honestly surprised by the poor reviews listed for the product… I loved this set and my only complaint was not ordering 2 from the jump. They are by far our favorite bottles to use. I wanted to stay away from plastic and I knew some glass contained lead so after some research I landed on Phillips and Dr. Browns. After using both I can confidently say we are a Phillips household! (Literally gave away all of our Dr. browns glass bottles). The nipple size and the flow was perfect off the jump. And size 2 nipples which come with the taller bottles were great once she turned around 3 months. I’ve dropped a bottle once or twice and it didn’t break. Easy to wash, not too many parts, easy to assemble. I’m so glad my baby loved these as much as I did! Could not recommend these enough!

But if you like throwing out broken glass
They were great when they worked but they progressively broke over a period of days. Just from cooling and heating. Don’t but these.

I don’t know what changed with Philip Avent bottles over the last 4 years. I loved them with my first child, but this go around- nothing but issues. First my order was missing the sleeves that protect the glass bottles- baby list gave me a partial refund for that. Aside from that, some of the nipples work (somewhat normal flow), some don’t allow flow at all and some POUR out and the ones that don’t flow are level 3 vs the ones that pour out are level 2 (super backwards). Lastly, the top unscrews off the bottle randomly and you don’t know until you take the bottle out your baby’s mouth to pace them and ounces of hard earned breast milk is spilling all over them.

Great bottles and nipples
Love these bottles and nipples. We used the size 1 well past 2 months because our baby ate really well with it. They will leak if you don't put the top on just right. I feel like the glass does a better job more evenly heating the milk in the warmer than plastic does!
