Description
The Naturepedic Breathable Organic Crib Mattress is breathable, waterproof and certified organic. Crafted with organic cotton fabric and fill and without polyurethane foam, flame retardants, harmful chemicals or potential allergens, the Naturepedic Breathable provides a healthier sleep environment for baby. The mattress is waterproof at the surface, featuring Naturepedic’s non-toxic waterproofing made from non-GMO sugarcane, and wrapped in a removable, washable, breathable cover. This practical design offers increased airflow that doesn’t come at the cost of cleanliness.
The dual-stage design offers a firm side for infants and a medium firm side for toddlers. Plus, this mattress features a lightweight core that allows for easy sheet changes without compromising on support for baby’s developing muscles and bones. Reinforced edges help to keep bouncing toddlers safe, too. An innerspring model is also available.

When they say breathable — they mean it
This Mattress is amazing And bring so much peace of mind for my sleeping baby. When I tested the breathability, I was shocked to find that there was absolutely no restriction to airflow. I have no concern when it comes to my baby sleeping safely on this mattress. Plus, I really wanted something that was nontoxic and was manufactured intentionally with my baby's safety in mind. I haven't tried any competitor mattresses, but there's absolutely no need.

Love the materials, durability could be better
We splurged on this mattresses, and went with the light option so that I could easily lift it and change sheets. I do understand that the coil option might be more durable in the long run, but I wasn't expecting a dent in the middle to occur so quickly (after only three weeks of use by a four month old). I love the lightness and the good materials, but think that it could be a more strongly built, durable product from the get go.

Would Highly Recommend!
As a first time mom, I've been doing extensive of research on the type of mattress I should purchase for my baby, and I have to say that I am very pleased with my decision! I've felt and explored many different options seeking the healthiest/ most comfortable mattress for my baby, but nothing comes close to this one! I ordered the Organic Breathable Baby Lightweight Crib Mattress and it is exactly as described. The quality is amazing and feels like it will last for quite some time. The mesh cover was a lovely touch as well. I absolutely love the fact that it is 2-stage with the firm and softer side options. Being I have a convertible crib to be used from baby to toddler, I figured this would be the best option! If you're on the fence about getting this mattress, I'd highly recommend.

Baby Sleeps Well/Quality Mattress
I appreciated the firmness of the mattress, I needed one that wasn't saggy and after my research naturepedic mattresses followed the best guidelines for processes and materials used in the mattress. We just transitioned our baby from bassinet to crib on this mattress and he's sleeping on it great, plus I feel confident about how it was

Peace of mind
After realizing that there is a link with flame retardants in crib mattresses and SIDS, I was immediately on the market for a new mattress for our baby. This mattress is not only organic but also of noticeably better quality than the one we had before. Now I want new mattresses for the entire family! Thank you for making a quality product. The mesh mattress cover is nice too!
