Description

With the 2.0 version of its Single-to-Double Stroller, Mockingbird added even more thoughtful enhancements to this parent favorite. Mockingbird is a direct-to-consumer brand that skips retailer markups, so this stroller costs less than it would otherwise.

Like the name implies, the Single-to-Double starts as a single stroller, but can expand into a double by adding the 2nd Seat Kit (sold separately), so you can stroll with two infants, an infant and toddler or two toddlers. You can also accommodate three kids by adding the Riding Board attachment.

The stroller can be used from birth with their cozy lie-flat Bassinet, the practical space-saving Infant Seat Insert or one of their Car Seat Adapters that make their stroller compatible with over 40 different infant car seats (sold separately). When they’re ready (around six months), they can switch to the toddler seat which is reversible and reclinable for flexibility as their preferences evolve.

The canopy is made of a UPF 50+ material to block out UV rays and with a quick unzip, it extends for additional sun protection. This latest version also includes a pop-out visor to provide extra shade. On the inside of the canopy, the black-and-white patterns are not only super cute but help promote early childhood visual development.

You can expect smooth strolls thanks to all-wheel suspension, shock-absorbing tires that never go flat and updates to the 2.0 frame design. More noteworthy features: the stroller can be folded with one hand, the handlebar rotates to accommodate caregivers of different heights and the updated seat straps automatically adjust to the child’s height with one quick pull (no more manual re-threading).

Reflective material on the back of the seat and basket make for safer evening strolls. And for storage, the generous XL basket helps you stash up to 25 lbs of essentials. There’s even a hidden seatback pocket designed to keep your phone accessible.

124 Questions
The stroller only comes with a toddler seat? Anyone knows if the evenflo car seat adapts to this stroller?

That is correct. There is no infant car seat included. Evenflo car seats are not compatible with this stroller.

Do you need to buy a second seat kit to have the first seat and bassinet together? If you have the first seat and buy the bassinet can you use them together or do you need the second seat kit even if you don’t need the second seat?

Yes, you'll need the second seat kit to run the first seat and bassinet together. The kit provides the necessary mounting hardware for safely attaching the bassinet. If you're never going to use the 2nd stroller seat, you might want to reach out to Mockingbird's Customer Experience team to see if you can purchase the upper & lower adapters on their own.

Is this stroller compatible with the cybex aton G Swivel car seat?? ?

No, this is only compatible with Cybex's Aton G car seat.

Can you use two bassinets for twins?

The Single-to-Double Stroller supports only one Bassinet at a time. If you're planning for twins, we recommend using two Infant Seat Inserts or two Car Seat Adapters (either way, you'll need a 2nd Seat Kit!).

Does this stroller comply with disney park requirements?

Yes, it does.

Is this a good stroller for twins? ?

It is! You can use two infant car seats with this or carry two toddlers at the same time.

Do you have to connect the adapter every time?

If you are adding an infant car seat or second seat, then adapters are required.

Is this Stroller compatible with the Cybex Cloud G Lux Car Seat ? ?

Unfortunately it's not compatible. You can see the full list on this page: https://hellomockingbird.com/products/stroller-car-seat-adapter?variant=43925652799654

Is there a parent cup holder attachment available? The Stokke version you guy keep suggesting as an accessory is apparently NOT compatible.?
Does the stroller close with 2 toddler seat or do you have to remove them? ?

Yes, it can be folded with one or two seats attached (no need to remove!).

Customer service was quick to respond and product and accessories came undamaged and just like the picture. This stroller is big but beautiful and very comfortable for my wiggly 10 month old boy and has awesome undercarrage space. It folds with one hand and unfolds in one motion. The only downside is that my heart breaks everytime the nice leather handlebar has to touch the ground when it folds, and that it takes up all of my trunk space in my nissan rogue but its not enough to dislike this stroller. I would reccomend to my friends.

Baby Bassinet
We love it! My son sleeps comfortably in it and I don’t feel uneasy having him in it as I would having him in a car seat. Great purchase!

Mockingbird or UPPAbaby?
If you are anything like me…you’ve spent hours watching review videos and reading comparison articles (lol). 🤓

Hi, I’m Rachel, and I have a 9 week old, an 18 month old, and a 5 year old. My family lives in the suburbs of Austin, TX. We used a Doona (which we loved) when it was just our 18 month old, but with two under 2 we knew we needed a different solution. 😳

For me it came down to the Austlen Entourage 2.0, the UPPAbaby Vista 3.0, or the Mockingbird 2.0 single to double. I did all the research and comparisons until I drove my hubby insane. 🤪 Here’s what it came down to:

- Price (can’t beat Mockingbird) 🤑
- I wanted a real bassinet that was overnight sleep approved. On the stroller I wanted it to be able to be up top/closest to me, not on the bottom/farther away (which is the only spot the others could do). 😴
- I wanted my affordable car seat to be able to attach seamlessly (the Chicco KeyFit 35), and the Mockingbird fits practically any car seat with the appropriate adapters. 💰
- I wanted to fit all 3 kids…so the weight limit had to be high enough for my 5 year old to tag along and ride if he wanted (with the rider board). 💪

Those were the necessities. 🤷‍♀️

The things I ended up loving about Mockingbird:

- the unique design on the inside of the canopy
- the single touch buttons that allow you to put seats and adapters on & take them off with a kid in your arms
- one handed fold
- the unique zip on the foot rest to clean off crumbs!

I didn’t see any other strollers with these features! 😍

If you’re asking yourself what to do, and you have young kids (babies/toddlers), the Mockingbird is the way to go. Here’s your sign to stop doing any more comparisons or research. This stroller is amazing!! No regrets or buyers remorse!! 😂👏🥳🤩

Too big & heavy
This stroller is huge! While it has every feature under the sun & I enjoyed it with my first for a few months (bc the stroller naps are very comfy with the infant insert), it got to be too big & heavy. It takes up the entire back of my car with the third row down & that’s with taking one of the two seats off. It’s also very heavy to steer and just clunky. We ended up trading it for a side-by-side double and a wagon. Got the combo secondhand for less than this costs & both fit in the back of the car with the third row up. Thought about keeping the mockingbird because it could be good at Disney type trips but then remembered we can’t pack suitcases and it in the car anyway.

Love it
Wow! I just took it out for a walk for the first time this morning. It was very easy to put together. I have a 5 month old and a 2 year old. I used the infant insert for the 5 month old. I didn't even realize until I was putting it together that the seats can recline. Which makes it even better! I have very bumpy sidewalks in my neighborhood and it easily went over most of the bumps. Very user friendly. I absolutely love it!

Definitely rides smoothly even in grass. I didn’t think it would ride over grass so easily. I’ve own a graco travel system single stroller and it didn’t really go over grass well. I love the sky blue canopy it’s a beautiful color. The windowpane is the first thing my 1 year old pointed too when he got into the stroller and I opened the canopy for him to see.

Wonderful for two kids!
We bought this when we had our second baby! We use it for our daily family/hot mom walks. It has been so useful and easily strolls around anywhere we have gone. The suspension is great and the stroller frame is fairly light. It packs a punch without a doubt! Might I mention for a fraction of the cost of some higher end brands that don’t fit all the configurations this one does.

Small Wheels
I love this stroller and everything about it. If i could change one thing though it would be the wheels. They feel small and unstable when I have it as a double stroller. I really wish they had an option to upgrade the wheels to something a little bigger to swap out too!
