First Shapes Puzzle Not Challenging Enough
I bought this for my eight month old grandson. He already has a "Montessori" shapes puzzle with three pieces (square, circle, and hexagon). I am disappointed with the Jumbo Peg "House" puzzle because it is too easy. The frame has pictures where the puzzle pieces go, and the pictures are identical to the puzzle piece! It would be more interesting and challenging if the pictures in the frame were different from the picture on the puzzle piece. The shapes have to match, of course, but a baby can figure out that a puzzle piece will fit its place even when the pictures are different. Our kids need invigoration, not assisting guidance.

Beautifully Crafted Puzzle
I bought it as a gift for my nephew, and I can't imagine that he won't easily learn his shapes and colors from this beautifully crafted first puzzle.
