Overview

Description

Swaddle UP has the distinction of being a zip-up swaddle that allows baby to sleep with their arms up. This natural position gives baby access to their hands for self-soothing (they can suck on their fingers right through the fabric), while the fabric wings protect little faces from fingernail scratches. This one is specially designed with a wider fit at the bottom so that it can be worn over a hip dysplasia harness or brace.

Swaddling helps your baby feel more secure, calms their natural startle reflex and helps them stay asleep longer. Swaddles are also safer than loose blankets in the crib or bassinet.

The Swaddle UP is incredibly easy to use: the zipper is quick and quiet (many other swaddles use Velcro), and it stays on all night without any breakouts. The two-way zipper allows for diaper changes without removing the swaddle.

Parents also appreciate the super soft fabric: it’s breathable and not too thick, to reduce the risk of overheating. The swaddle fits snugly, so no extra wrapping is needed. But unlike a traditional swaddle, the Swaddle UP is roomier around the hips, leaving space for baby’s legs to move freely and promoting long-term hip health.

Swaddle Up Hip Harness a must for pavlik harness
These are the only swaddles my daughter likes! These and the halo were recommended for her while she's in the pavlik harness for her hip dysplasia. The halo still closed over her legs a bit and having her arms swaddled down next to the straps didn't seem very comfortable. The swaddle up hip harness however is a perfect fit! I highly recommend!

Rhino kicker harness dream
So grateful to find this after our son was diagnosed with hip dysplasia. This works perfect and he loves having his little hands up versus wrapped to his waist. Already purchased the next size up for transitioning to armless.

Lifesaver!
Our little one was diagnosed with hip dysplasia and we were stressed to say the least. With navigating her new pavlik harness, how to hold her, and all the additional doctors appointments, also trying to figure out how to swaddle her was extremely overwhelming. Love to Dream literally saved the day with this swaddle. She sleeps SO well in it, it has so much room for her harness, and the double zipper is great for night time diaper changes. There are almost no other swaddles on the market for hip dysplasia so we cannot thank Love to Dream enough for this swaddle!

My daughter is 2 months
My daughter is 2 months old and loves the original swaddle up. She was recently diagnosed with hip dysplasia and was not able to wear them anymore due to having to wear a Pavlik Harness 24/7. Without her swaddle up she wasn’t sleeping too well. Once we got this in she started sleeping great again!! So thankful a swaddle up was made for DDH babies! It is helping make our journey a little easier.

These are wonderful. The bottom
These are wonderful. The bottom is large enough to accommodate a harness, a “taco” brace, or a regular baby. I love that the arms are not strapped to the side and allow some movement but not too much. I feel like the arm movement would mimic the room inside the Uterus to an extent. I have named it an angel 😇 suit. We put her little arms in, and I call them wings. You can handle just having one which we did at first, but having 3 gives us less stress if anything happens unexpectedly at night. She will still wear these after the braces they are so great.

I bought this swaddle for
I bought this swaddle for my daughter after a rough first few nights in her Pavlik harness. While other swaddles can work with the harness, they require some rigging. This is specifically designed with room for her leg positioning. I was nervous for her arms to be up (instead of swaddled down at her sides), but the arm/hand placement is actually a happy medium for her between arms down and arms out. Most important: Her sleep has improved tremendously. Whether that's due to her being a few weeks older, more used to the harness, or this swaddle...who really knows. BUT! I'm thankful for the swaddle and will be buying the non-harness version after she's out of the Pavlik.
