Yes, without wifi you can still access basic sounds and adjust the brightness, volume and light.

No, the Hatch Rest Sound Machine (2nd Gen) is not a Bluetooth speaker. While it can be controlled via Bluetooth using the Hatch app, it does not allow for streaming music or audio directly from other devices like a traditional Bluetooth speaker. It is designed specifically to play its built-in sound options, such as white noise, nature sounds, and lullabies?
The Hatch Rest 2nd Gen does need Wi-Fi to use its smart features and app controls. If you don’t have Wi-Fi, you can still use it manually, but you'll miss out on the app’s extra options.
This sound machine needs to be plugged in.
It isn't required to use this product, but you do have the option to pay for a subscription to access its other premium features.
The clock face does have an option to be turned off. You can make this adjustment under Settings.
The nightlight, sound machine, and Time-to-Rise feature function without WiFi, but you'll only be able to control the settings from your phone when it's connected to WiFi.
You can totally use both of the devices on the same app. When you open the app, it'll show you all the devices nearby via Bluetooth (around 20-30 feet) or any devices connected through WiFi.

I'm curious, what makes this new bundle different?
The machine does not work well without Wi-Fi, especially long term. There are buttons on the top that allow to select between premade routines, but those routines are lost if the hatch loses power. Even the clock doesn't work right if the machine is not connected to wifi
This device does not have a 12 hour back up battery, at best it's a 12 minute back up battery.
Safe yourself the headache and get a 60 dollar alarm clock/night light from amazon.
