The CYBEX Eternis S with SensorSafe features three modes: rear-facing (4-50 lbs), forward-facing (22-65 lbs) and booster (40-120 lbs). For safety, it features a steel-reinforced frame and adjustable linear side impact protection which absorbs impact forces in the event of a collision.

With SensorSafe, you’ll gain instant insight into your child’s well-being—even when your eyes are on the road. Built into the chest clip of CYBEX car seats, the SensorSafe clip connects to a vehicle receiver which sends alerts to the mobile app on your phone.

Works but very hard to install
It works fine once it is put in the car, and my son looks comfortable but it is extremely hard to install the car seat into the car. You need to push REALLY HARD to be able to attach it. We installed 3 different car seats from different brands into the exact same spot before and never had this problem before.

Excellent quality!
A bit heavy but very well made car seat. A lot of room for our 13 month old son. The cushion is great. Would recommend.

No seatbelt lock off for rear facing
I gave the seat three stars because it is a very solid car seat that feels extremely safe. However, the installation for the seatbelt rear facing is impossible. There is no lock off. There are only grooves to slide the belt into and because of these grooves are so tight it’s impossible to get inappropriate rear facing install. I wanted to love the seat, but I had to return due to this issue.

It gets a little hard to install because the seat back doesn't stay up when installing the lock off. But overall, great seat. My kid loves it, says it's super comfy.

APO Military issue
We absolutely love this car seat. We had to get it ship to the states as they do not deliver to military APOs. Such a shame that they won’t offer this service for military members as our only options are one type of Graco car seat and one evenflo. I have recently switched over and have the travel stroller from JP. Due to different safety regulations I had to get this send to the states and then ship out to APO another $200 spend.

Parental torture device
I researched and recieved the eternis s w sensor safe through our shower registry. I do not recommend this seat... Initially I was drawn to the high ratings, all in one design and safety technology. Our son is now three years old.
I no longer use the sensor safe. It is more annoying than useful. In daily use the shoulder straps twist if you look at them wrong. Instalation is torture by means of frustration. As I write this I am turning our son forward facing. The cheaper just as highly rated seat in my truck was a breeze. The eternis has me cursing.
Save your money. Get a cheaper 2 in 1 seat...years from now pick up a booster. This seat is not worth it for the sake of having one seat for a lifetime.

Worst carseat ever!!
Had this for a couple weeks and I couldn't deal with it anymore. Getting the kid in and out of it is terrible! My daughter complains how uncomfortable it is. It has everything positioned on the worst place like the recline button etc! I can't adjust the recline without taking the carseat of my car. Definitely not recommended.
