Donkey Twin Adapter for Turtle One/Maxi Cosi Car Seats

I bought the donkey5 twin stroller with bassinets in August 2024 for my son’s newborn twins. He loves how he is face to face with them as he walks them everyday. The bassinet’s keep the babies as comfortable as if they were napping at home. The tires/suspension are very good on paved walkways as well as trails.

It is very easy to use and assemble. Recommend to buy.

I can’t recommend this pram enough, I chose bugaboo for my second set of twins as with my first lot of twins I chose a different brand which was tandem and I didn’t like how the bottom twin didn’t have a view. I was worried about the bugaboo being side by side as I thought I wouldn’t get through shop doors but I’ve managed every shop and bus so far!! Which I didn’t expect too.

Having the option to put the car seats on our Donkey has been a game changer! It’s super easy to set up and take off.

We bought this adapter for our twins as doing everyday things like shopping with 2 basinets would make it incredibly difficult space wise. This allowed us to just pop their car seats in the frame and can travel a bit lighter.

So my twins were in the NICU, I loved this stroller so much when I was using it only for one baby and I attached the diaper bag next to it I would get soooo many compliments. Now that I have both babies home, I have to use the car seat adapter and I struggle every single place I go. The website states fits through most standard doorways, they forgot to mention that it does not fit through 90% of doors when using the car seat adapters. I am just waiting for my twins to get big enough to use the regular seats because I really did love this stroller until I had the door issue. I love how smooth it is, has great storage I put the diaper bag below along with a pulse ox machine and an oxygen c tank and still have room. I ended up getting the turtle air car seats and do not regret them at all. They are very light weight compared to other car seats. I wish I can give this 5 starts but having to take one car seat off every time I need to go through a regular door reallyyyy hurt the rating.

I have twins and thought I had done a ton of research and picked this stroller. With the car seat attachment and car seats you cannot fit through any doors so taking them to any appointments or inside anywhere is not possible without removing the car seats and putting the stroller through by itself. I would not recommend getting this stroller.
