Can you breastfeed wearing the Tula?

You can breastfeed your baby wearing this carrier while in an inward-facing front carry. To do this, you can loosen your arm straps and lower the waistband, without unbuckling any buckles, and position baby to your chest. You will want to reposition baby once they are done feeding or if they fall asleep.

Is it plus size friendly? I wear a size 20w.

This carrier is designed to fit most wearers whether they are petite or plus-sized, man or woman. The waistband on this carrier has a maximum length of 57".

Is there a height limit?

This carrier has no height limit but it can only be used by babies between 7-45 lbs.

Can the straps cross in the back?

The straps are designed to be worn in an "H" style and can't be crossed in the back.

Machine washable right?

This carrier is machine washable.

Is it hot for summer wear?

It isn't! The Baby Tula Explore Carrier is naturally cool to make snuggles enjoyable from season to season.

What materials is it made of?

The Baby Tula Explore Carrier in Linen Dove is made with 52% linen and 48% cotton. It also includes polyurethane foam and EVA foam for padding with the addition of polyester needle punch, which is a felt-like material for additional padding and structure.

Would this work for both a newborn and 6m+? Can my husband and I both use it?

The Tula Explore is suitable for babies weighing between 7 to 45 pounds, making it suitable for newborns (as long as they're at least 7 pounds) and older babies. The adjustable straps also allow for easy use so you and your husband can definitely use it.

Can you use this for back wearing baby?

Absolutely! You can wear this carrier with your baby back facing in.

Love this Carrier! Just learn how to put it on properly first
We love this carrier! A lot of the low rated reviews are because of the design, but if you learn how to put it on properly, it's super simple to use/put on, even by yourself. Just a quick YouTube search will give you the pro tips in case you're in need. We watched the one from The Babywearing Academy and found it extremely helpful.

Beautiful carrier, but hard to secure without help.
Carries itself is comfortable and well-made and baby seemed very comfortable. I prefer it to all of the others I tried BUT I found it was extremely difficult to secure the back strap without help, which severely limited its utility. Ultimately had to return.

terrible design
This carrier is so terribly designed. With the buckle at the top of your shoulder blades it's hard to snap on, tighten and then take off. Just a nightmare to get on and off and it created so many infuriating postpartum moments when all I wanted to do was get out of the house with my baby. Reading the reviews I understand now that it certainly was not just me as a newby mom - it's the carrier.

i wanted to love this…
i really wanted to love this carrier because everyone told me to get it. unfortunately it is a bit clunky and hard for me to get on alone. i have short arms and to clip it in the back with my newborn is very difficult. hoping to get more use out of it when my baby is older and when my partner is with me to clip it in.

it is sturdy and pretty looking! but just doesn’t work for me in this phase right now.

Disappointed
Not easy to strap the buckles on your back. Not great for c section mommas. In my baby wearing journey i discovered that extra padding and stiff waist bands do not always mean more comfort. Honestly hated this carrier. It made me hotter because of the waistband. There are way better options… like hope & plum lark.

It’s certainly heavy duty and baby feels secure when he’s in it, but the material is thick and I’ve got a darker color so it gets very hot very quickly. Keep in mind if you live in a warmer climate. The buckles are also very stiff and difficult to use on your own the first several times. You have to contort yourself in to a pretzel to reach the clip between your shoulders.
