Overview

Description

Designed with mesh walls for airflow and breathability, the Beside Me Wink can be used as both a Bassinet and Bedside Sleeper.

In the Bassinet mode, all the walls are secured in an upright position. This is great for naps, overnight sleep and keeping baby close throughout the day.

In Bedside Sleeper mode, it secures to your own bed with the included safety anchors. After securing it, unzip the side wall closest to your bed, which gives you easy access to your little one throughout the night.

Many parents love the Bedside Sleeper mode for nighttime feedings and soothing (or just taking a peek at baby!). It has seven options for height adjustment, so it accommodates most beds.

The Wink has 7 different height options. At the lowest setting, the mattress of the bassinet is about 11" from the ground. The highest setting puts the mattress about 17" from the ground.

I can't find a mattress topper or mattress pad that's compatible with the "D" shape and dimensions of the existing mattress. Any recommendations? I love the bassinet, but the mattress is very thin and doesn't look like it would be comfortable to sleep on.

Because of its unique shape, you'll have trouble finding a mattress that will fit. If it helps, the mattress may look too thin for us but it should be just right for our little one.

NOT ORGANIC MATERIALS
This is made of 100% polyester- nothing organic about it. With that said, the polyester sheet is really rough. It also doesn’t feel very stable when moving it from room to room. Benefits are the mesh netting for side sleepers like my little one and the zippers on the side. I will not be holding onto it or repurchasing for baby #2. However, I will find a similar one with the highlighted benefits :)

Not as it seems in pictures
Not as it seems in pictures. You need to have a bed frame for the legs to go in somehow otherwise there is gap between bed and bassinet. Not sturdy at all! When baby moves bassinet moves and squeaks. I had to buy soft sheets because the ones included are terrible. I wish I hadn’t added this item to my registry. I

The material is rough, and my little one always ended up scooting over in it completely to the same side so its not level. And that side has a giant metal bar she could hit her head on. This product isnt safe.

Unsafe
Horrible and unsafe. Baby rolls over immediately in this crib no matter what. Doesn’t roll anywhere else.

NOT ORGANIC!
Upset that so many people have been deceived! Today I took my gifted bassinet out the box. I took the removable and washable "organic cotton" cover off to wash. Upon examining the tag it states that this FABRIC IS 100% POLYESTER!!!!!! We were actually gifted 2 and see that both of these covers say 100% polyester fabric. The boxes and all website descriptions I can find say this fabric is organic when it in fact is not!

False Advertising - NOT ORGANIC!
The only reason we got this bassinet is because it advertises being made of organic fabric. It’s even in the name! Marketing Team - listen up: this is either not the case or the material is gravely mislabeled (see photos). We called customer service and they said that the organic material is the part that comes in contact with the baby. So, why does the fabric over the mattress frame read, “100% polyester”? As I write this review for accuracy, I just realized that Amazon actually lists the material breakdown - 20% of the material is GOT organic cotton. I’m also amazed of the number of reviews that don’t even mention this inaccurate callout. Even if there is 20% organic cotton, where is that even labeled? The answer is “absolutely no where.” In conclusion, to everyone who is thinking about buying this based on the organic material callouts, think again. What else are they misleading about?

Horrible design and misleading photos
The pictures deceptively use bedding and camera angles hide the fact that the giant flared out legs of this bassinet require a very specific elevated bed in order for the bassinet to fit next to the bed without a 6inch + gap. Very dangerous to use as intended so we are just using it away from the bed. The shape of the mattress is also irregular and even though the website claims you can find sheets for it, there are none on amazon or target or that I could find with a web search. We were forced to buy “universal” sheets from the baby delight website. To add insult to injury, the website claimed free shipping on orders over $50 but then made us buy at least $80 worth of products to qualify for free shipping. Another review claimed their customer service was good but I challenge you to find their phone number anywhere on their website.

Not what it seems
So while this is easy to put together and it’s light weight and adjustable
The mattress if that what they call it . Is way too flat and firm
My baby always rolls over
I look at it and I can’t even imagine laying flat on it
Because it’s unique size you can’t get a topper for it.
It’s more in the way in my room then me using it for now
Maybe when baby is bigger but not for newborn stage.
The bassinet that came with upper baby it ten times better and I don’t ever have an issue with baby sleeping on his back in there.
So you get what you pay for I guess. Don’t let the “it’s organic “ be the selling point !

Not Level
My newborn constantly rolled to one side and always ended up smooshed against the netting. We even took it apart and reassembled it and still faced the same issues.
