There’s no shortage of ways to celebrate a new baby, but if you’re looking for a way to combine that celebration with your love of all things astrology, we’ve got the perfect solution: an astrology-themed baby shower!

Whether you see it as a way to announce baby’s due date or a look into the future of their personality—or both—this is a party theme that’s fit for the stars (and planets).

Everything You Need for an Astrology Baby Shower

Just like any baby shower, you’ll need invitations, decor, food, games and guests. Coordinate everything with stars, moons and splashes of baby’s star sign (including the symbol, colors and constellation) and you’ve got yourself a theme.

Color Schemes

Party themes inspired by astrology come in lots of different color combos. If you’re planning to incorporate the colors of your little one’s astrological sign into the rest of the decor, it’s a good idea to pick a base color scheme that will complement the sign’s colors (and don’t worry if you don’t know the colors of the signs; we’ve listed them below). Celestial color schemes usually look like:

  • White, navy and gold
  • White, navy and silver
  • Pink, purple and rose gold
  • Teal/blue, purple and silver (gold can also be added)
