This is a good product. It allowed me to use my double stroller as soon as my second baby was born. However, the instructions are basically useless. Also, Babylist doesn’t have it listed but this is compatible with the Urban Guide 3.
Here are the better instructions I found in another review on Thule’s site that actually work.
**Instructions:**
1. **Disconnect the Harness:**
- Pull the harness strap out of the clip. I've attached images with the strap circled in yellow to show what I'm referring to.
- Repeat on both sides so you have two shoulder parts and two loose straps disconnected.
2. **Place the Inlay:**
- Simply place the inlay on top of the stroller seat and feed the straps through the holes.
3. **Reconnect the Straps:**
- Once everything is pushed through the insert, reconnect the strap pieces so you can buckle in your child.

The Newborn Inlay isn't compatible with the Baby Jogger City Mini GT stroller. It only works with the Thule Shine, Thule Urban Glide 2, Thule Urban Glide 2 Double and Thule Spring.
Does the Thule Universal Newborn Inlay work with the Thule Sleek stroller?
No, the Thule Sleep does not have a lay-flat child seat, so this inlay will not work with the Sleek. If you'd like to use the Sleek with a newborn, it is recommended you purchase the bassinet or car seat adapters.

Not compatible with Urban Glide 2
This insert is not compatible with the Urban Glide 2 despite the technical specs claiming it is. The installation instructions (which are very poor quality to begin with) and video are all for a different stroller for a reason. Thule’s customer service is incredibly poor and we have not been able to get a response by phone or email on this issue or an unrelated request for a replacement part.
