Description

Stylish and super functional, the Sleek is a single stroller that converts to a double or twin stroller. Its beautiful and sleek design is backed up by the trusted quality and know-how of Thule.

Built to move, the Sleek is a nimble, compact stroller. With swiveling front wheels and all-wheel suspension, it’s a comfortable ride and easy to navigate even in crowded or urban settings. (The wheels can be locked into place on rougher terrain.) The high single seat can be flipped parent- or forward-facing. It has a good size canopy with a zip-out extension, mesh panels and a silent closure peekaboo window. The seat has three reclines and swing-away bumper bar. For parent comfort, the telescoping handlebar adjusts to suit different heights.

For your gear, the Sleek comes with a diaper bag hook as well as a large cargo basket with a zip-top cover and a magnetic-closure side opening. The covered basket is an excellent feature—your things stay dry in the rain, and you won’t risk anything falling out as you walk or fold up the stroller. Speaking of folding, the Sleek has an easy fold with auto lock, and you can take the wheels off to make it more compact for transport or storage.

When you’re ready to expand this stroller, it’s very simple to change configurations. You can mix and match seats and bassinets, or use it with two seats, infant car seats (full compatibility list below) or bassinets and still have a compact stroller. Adapters, extra seats and bassinets can all be purchased separately.

Infant Car Seat Compatibility

Using brand-specific adapters (sold separately), you can transform the Sleek into your own travel system with the infant car seats below:

Expect more from Thule
I did a TON of research on strollers before buying. We purchased the Thule Sleek and the bassinet. Our main wants were a stroller that fits 2 kids and something that is good for more rugged terrain. This stroller checks those boxes!

Pros -
1. 2+ child stroller
2. Great material
3. Good shocks/no inflate tires for all terrain
4. Bassinet option (sold separately)

Cons -
1. CLUNKY to fold. I have to flip the stroller over to tuck in the front wheels for it to fold properly. Otherwise, it doesn’t click and then I’m left awkwardly picking it up and trying not to get hit with it when it springs open after taking it out of the car.
2. Bar above storage compartment - this is the major design flaw. I end up walking around the side of the stroller to access the storage bin because there is a bar that is LITERALLY in the most inconvenient spot that blocks my access to the bin. It is very frustrating.
3. Small storage compartment - I knew this before buying, but it is a con. I like that it zips closed, but it is small.
4. The price - this is possibly the most expensive stroller n the market, especially after purchasing the bassinet separately.

Giving 3 stars because there are not many 2+ strollers on the market so that is a huge pro, but I would not purchase this stroller again.

2 years later and I still love it
I waited to write a review until I had really put this stroller through the ringer. I've had it for nearly 2 years and have used it as a single stroller, infant car seat + toddler seat, and now as a double. I use it every single day. I've taken it on dirt trails, cobble stone, sand, snow, rain, and wind and it has continued to handle everything. Sometimes my older child prefers the front seat and even with it being front heavy, I've been able to manage curbs. Recently we took it to Disneyland and the ability to switch up the seat positions based on which child was sleeping and how much light I wanted blocked was a game changer. I only have two complaints; the harness can be a little tricky so I usually just end up only using the shoulder straps and forgoing the waist belt, and I wish that the travel bag was bigger to accommodate both seats. It's too bad that this stroller has so many poor reviews, because I've been so happy with mine

Great for Twins!
I love this stroller! I use this stroller for my twins that are currently 5 months old. We are in it everyday and it is very user friendly and fits through all store doors! The storage space has plenty of room. We currently use it with the maxi cosi car seats. I find that the ride is very smooth and even with a big load we can manage to maneuver through all terrain and obstacles. I would recommend to twin moms looking for a double stroller!

Fell apart after 6 months
I previously left a 5 star review. I loved this stroller and thought it was the best thing ever until after 6 months. The suspension started squeaking. Customer service would not assist. After 9 months one of the wheels gave way and I have been waiting over a month to see what Thule would do to fix it. I obviously need a stroller so I purchased an Upper Baby and shelved my $1400 Thule purchase (price is loaded by the time I got all the extras). What a waist of money. I still can not believe how bad the customer service is.

Versatile
We have had the Thule Sleek for the last 6 months to use with our first child. What really draw us to this was the known quality of Thule built products. What we really love after using this nearly everyday is the ability for the stroller to handle more aggressive terrain. The wheels both front and back are sufficient to handle very uneven surfaces while still being smooth. We routinely do 3-4 mile walks with this stroller and aren't thinking of needing a replacement due to the variety of rough or uneven walkways.

Very happy with this purchase. Premium product. Thanks Thule.

its critical to have a car seat adapter I thought spending $110 CAN would have got me something that would have thought of that

Major Fail
I am so disappointed in this stroller. We purchased this for our second child, because we love our Urban Glide, however this stroller makes me angry every time I use it. It may roll nicely, however there are major design flaws. First, the placement of the bassinet when using the sibling seat, means your baby is completely out of sight. The bassinet is also where I must keep my cell phone and keys as there is no accessory for valuables ( the "organizer" will not work on my set up - and really when you get a phone call or need to take a picture you should have your phone and wallet accessible). Next, the adult cup holder will only safely hold a single use water bottle - which no one who owns this stroller would use regularly. That means no coffee cups, no reusable water bottles - I've already broken one when it fell out. Finally, as I have to use the bassinet, because the car seat attachment was defective and now out of stock, I often have a screaming and kicking 2 year old right in my face. Try putting together all five pieces of the "harness" when your kid doesn't want to leave the play ground! Impossible! (the Urban Glide has a similar harness with only three pieces).

Thule - in the next version please think about the adult too and make this user friendly! You did so well with the Urban Glide, please do so for the Sleek!

Last thought - If I could I would return this for a more user friendly stroller.
