Wheels broke off: same problem as everyone else
I'm super bummed this suitcase isn't designed properly. I read all the other reviews and we experienced the same problem as others. The wheels and wheel housing broke on this. This suitcase is too expensive to break after only a handful of trips. We used it for 2.5 years, and of course there's a 2 year warranty and the company won't make things right. We were never rough with the suitcase, always used it as a carry-on, and my daughter is only 5 years old and not a heavy child at all. I wanted to buy another one of these for my son, but I learned my lesson. This suitcase can't withstand the weight of a child who rides on it. So disappointed.

This product does not have any way to safely buckle your child in if a child wants to lay down. It is not safe to put a loose seatbelt that allows a child to slip out and catch a child in the neck area, or other poor position that can happen during turbulence. Airlines do not allow people to leave children in unsafe situations, so this really is not approved!!!!!

Has the looks, but is definitely the ex.
Wheels are nice and smooth. The slim profile is easy for kids to ride. The box is light and good looking. Backpack and box is fun and cute while it lasts. Adorable pilot and airplane motifs. But so many issues. The backpack buckle is very thin in aluminum and spring was dislocated somehow making it useless. The pads don’t actually stay on the box, it has a hard plastic bottom against a smooth plastic so it will slide right off if the kids are riding this box. No idea what they were thinking. The caster wheels will punch through the plastic (!) receptacle holes with any a few impact if there is any variation on floor heights even as small as 1/4”, and of course what kid doesn’t accidentally bump their things into other masses, thus also weakening the front PLASTIC corners. Basically you are paying for expensive good looking plastic with a brand name that wants you to believe you are buying premium products with their premium price. It’s made in Asia, maybe it’s good with Asian airlines as they have stated, for Asian toddlers. But good grief, do some research and don’t make your product out of all PLASTIC For endure kids weight and usage. It’s not a stroller where the parents are the ones using this! And if you use plastic, consider making them actually thick enough to handle the pressure of the usage, or make replaceable wheel receptacles like luggage wheels . We’ve gone on 2. Thought first was a defect, waited bought an updated model, but still a joke. Both broken in less than a year. I’ve written off Stokke’s jet kids and Also how this is handled for knowingly putting an inferior product out there. It’s over 3 years, didn’t want to write a review and move on. But here it is. Also the plastic clips for the tether also breaks or flips backwards. Good grief.

Doesn’t stay in place and not approved on Alaska
Just took our first trip with bed box and were very excited to use. Unfortunately, the cushion does not stay in place - needs loops on side to hook to armrest as an improvement to current model. On our flight there, our toddler still enjoyed it regardless of the constant shifting required to put back in place. On the return flight however, Alaska informed us that it’s not approved.

Love the product but wheels break off!!!
I’m giving it 2 stars instead of 1 because our kids LOVE these and it makes traveling with small kids so easy! However, we have been through 2 and going on a third for each of our kids because the front wheels keep breaking off! We love Stokke and find they usually have the best quality products so I’m surprised to find others have the same issue and in the last few years that we have purchased these they have not fixed this design flaw. It’s a must for long haul flights for us so we keep getting them but PLEASE stokke fix this issue!!

Makes solo travels with a toddler so much fun!
I purchased JetKids before our flight from the US to Turkey last summer and have been using it for over a year now. My son loves it, and I cannot recommend it enough to parents who are traveling overseas! Prior to our first travel, everyone recommended me to get the stroller with us and use it all the time at the airport. I took the risk, and intentionally left it behind after seeing how balanced and sturdy the JetKids suitcase was. We had a blast at our quite long walk at the Istanbul airport, and we spend an hour decorating it with the stickers upon our return. I suggest parents to check in with the airlines beforehand, some airlines have restrictions for using this type of boxes during the flight. We didn't have any issue - and Stokke has an updated list for the airlines that you can use JetKids onboard. I'm giving 4 stars, just because the only issue I had was the limited storage space. It counts as a carry on, but it has a very very limited capacity. We can only pack a few snacks, thin activity books, and a blanket apart from its own bedding inserts.

Expensive but not durable
It worked great initially but we are extremely disappointed that it’s wheel (plastic around the wheel) broke after 3 use. The design is good but material is too fragile. I feel lkke the price is way too much for just 3 trips.

It was good until it lasted
Our kid enjoyed this suitcase for about 3 years, but sadly front wheels gave up and got broken. The sitting for the wheels is just too weak. There’s way to get them fixed. I expected this to last a bit longer for such an expensive thing.

Really impressed with this little suitcase. I bought 2 for my boys aged 3 and 5. They’re already excited for holiday but even more so now they have a ride on suitcase to use! The cases are sturdy and my 5 year old rides it with ease. The 3 year old will need some assistance but they handle well
When being pulled along. There is also a good amount of storage space, with room for some books, a small toy and the padded cover. The lid also has ample space for storing snacks or toys. We are yet to use the bed/foot rest option on a flight but trialling it at home it is easy to set up and I’m sure it will provide some comfort to our kids on a long haul flight.

We went to Cancun, Munich, and Toronto. And they broke the wheels off of our two suitcases!!! Customer service won’t offer repair because it’s out of warranty. Do not buy.
