Overview

Description

Skip Hop’s Explore and More is a hit with parents looking a clean, modern aesthetic (not the standard fare for activity centers). The activity center allows for self-directed but contained play for baby (when you need to do the dishes) and converts to play station for cruisers and finally a seamless toddler table. The seat stretches for bouncing and rotates 360 degrees so your baby can turn to play with different toys, easily attached to built-in toy loops. A plastic “discovery window” gives your little one a fascinating view of their own feet—a feature unique to this toy—promoting spatial awareness and teaching cause and effect.

The Explore and More has over 25 activities developmentally appropriate for your baby including:

  • Musical, light-up piano
  • Peek-a-boo owl that pops out and hoots
  • Spring cloud with colorful beads
  • Swaying trees
  • Hedgehog bead chaser with spinner

It also comes with a melamine Bee snack bowl that suctions to the surface.

Parents find this activity center is a good investment, especially if the more subdued colors and smaller size are important to you (most activity centers are bigger and brighter). They appreciate that the Explore and More entertains while not overwhelming: the toys are simple and easy to swap out. It’s sturdy but small and light enough to move from room to room, assembly is easy, and the legs detach for storage. Yes, you really can use it from four months (thanks to the adjustable foot support). However you may need to tuck blankets around smaller babies for more support in the seat.

These Skip Hop Explore More chairs make a nice addition when you convert the center to a play table.
