Description
The Safety 1st Under Crib Smart Light gently glows beneath your little one’s crib or bed, so you won’t wake them during check-ins. It’s automatically activated with a built-in motion sensor. You can also customize the lighting brightness and colors, or select from six recommended lighting presets.
This unique light uses the Safety 1st Connected App which lets you control and manage every device in the Connected Suite (including their other products like the Smart Soother and Smart Humidifier, sold separately).

How well does the light work if you have a skirt on your crib? Can you still see the light enough? (It doesn't get too hot under there, does it?)
To make the most of all the features, like the motion sensor and ambient light sensor, it's probably best not to use a crib skirt. (And it won't get too hot under there.)

The App Needs Serious Work
Doesn’t work without the app, just flashes red and white. App REQUIRES that I allow it my location “always” just to connect it to Wi-Fi (for personalized weather…for a crib light? Spare me). Then it wants me to manually type in my Wi-Fi network name instead of just listing the available Wi-Fi networks. I honestly just gave up and I’m not going to use the darn thing. Probably about the 5th simple thing I received as a baby gift that needs an app before it works correctly, but this is the only one that requires I allow it my location information at all times before even allowing me to continue further in the app setup.

Let there be light
If you're looking for a bedroom light for your child's bedroom I found this under crib lighting to be very useful and not too hard on the eyes when you're checking on your little one during the night.

Adjustable and easy to install
A nice light that can be controlled from your phone. Easy to setup and wish I would have purchased one for one of my older children. Seems like a good value for what you get and I have been using it as a nightlight in place of a table lamp.

A great design addition to the bedroom!
This was a great addition to my son's room, who frequently wakes in the middle of the night. The light comes with a long enough cord and fasteners so that it's safely out of my son's reach and can't trip over it at night. 3M adhesives were included so we attached those to the underside of my son's bed. The light is adjustable so it wasn't too bright to keep him up, but bright enough for him to see around his room and make his way to the bathroom safely. This was a great purchase and easy to use right out of the box!

I love this! It's so cool and my baby loves it too! Works well, gives additional light to use for naps or bed and also makes the room look pretty.

Multicolor crib light
How does this product compare to other products you've tried? I have never tried a product like this before I actually didn't know this was a thing. So I can't compare to a like product. What are some benefits of owning this product? I like that it lights up under the crib so when I need to go into check on the baby I don't have to turn on the room light. Also on the baby monitor it gives off just enough light to see but not to wake the baby. I also like that you can change it to any color you like. Would you buy this product? I don't think I would buy this product just because I don't think it's a necessity but it is definitely a cool little gadget. Would you recommend this product to your friends or family? I would recommend this product if new parents were looking for a nice little gadget like this.

By far the best!
Got this item to try out and let me tell you!!!! It is the best! Super easy to use and easy to install. My daughter loved the colors and the fact that it's not "too bright" really was a plus for me.

Very cool product!
I love this crib light as it really allows for a different take on a night light. It is so subtle, illuminates the crib area nicely and doesn't interrupt the sleep patterns of the baby. It was super easy to install, I love the app and the features such as changing the color and intensity of the light and the timer feature. Mounting to the underside of the crib allowed me to have light where I needed it for coming in to check on the baby. All in all, this is a great product that offers a more modern spin on a night light. Being able to customize the light makes it a product I would definitely recommend to others!

Perfect addition to my toddlers room!
This smart light in awesome! I love how easy it is to use and how you can control it from the app! It has many settings to really accommodate any room, my little one especially loves the different colors settings. It truly adds a lot to a room and can be very bright! Great product!
